On Tuesday at 10 pm EST, there is a show about quantum cooking on SyFy. I have seen some of those type of cooks on Chopped before. They always lose. But they can create some interesting dishes. Speaking of Chopped, it is on at 10 on Tuesdays, but it is in reruns now, so switch channels and give this show a try.IP: Logged |

On a side note, I amused myself a few minutes ago with a well-placed food joke. Those who saw Fringe tonight will get it. I said, "Now THAT'S what I call soul food!" IP: Logged |

A lady on Fringe couldn't die, and she wanted to, so she joined a suicide hotline to help people, but some of them went through with it with her there. So, anyway, the investigators wrongly assumed that she was helping to kill them to absorb their souls, so she could live forever...hence my punchline. *crickets chirp* Um, I guess you had to be there. I LOVE cooking shows, especially those that involve competition . I may DVR that show but Marcel annoys me to no end (I could not stand him on the Top Chef shows because of his arrogance). Then again, he is a fantastic chef and competitor (I am such a Saggie). Hmm... maybe I will DVR it... gotta love that crazy style of cooking- it is an art. BTW.. Love the reference to Fringe- we are watching it right now IP: Logged |

Did the chick ever get back from alternate universe? I used to love Fringe. I'd pretend that Pacey from Dawson's Creek grew up and was now a PI IP: Logged |

Yep, she's back, but the fake one went back also and is pregnant from the guy from our Uni-verse. I have a wristband that says "Dork." Bears, do you watch "Chopped"? They are doing an all-star version on Sunday nights for charity. Last week Chef Ann beat Chef Robert...again. She always wins over him in everything! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." She's pregnant by Peter??? Wow! I need to catch up! Is our Cancer guy cooking on Chopped tonight? I realize now that I have a crush on him LoL, I was looking at him last night on Best Thing I Ever Ate and thought to myself "hey, he's kinda cute" IP: Logged |

Yeah, but it looks like the baby is not human, which makes no sense, because both her and Peter are from the same alternate universe. She gives birth on the next episode (Friday). Geofrey might be on tonight. Not sure. Haven't seen any previews.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I have a great idea for a show: Chopped Iron Chef. Just one time, have four of the Iron Chefs compete. My money is on Cora!------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Has anyone tried the new product Cooking Cream by Philly Cream Cheese? Awesome and one can create so many recipes from them . To keep in context here I was flipping channels and saw it used on some Cooking show. ------------------ ~The Earth Laughs In Flowers~ ... Emerson IP: Logged |

Randall,Food Network hoodwinked and bamboozled us last night, dude :-/ And the guy that won, ugh, that fish and milk concoction looked GROSS (I was touched by his motivation behind wanting to win so I was very happy for him, though) I forget the woman who was competing, but I liked her and the other guy (I call him Commish if you can remember that show LoL thats who he looks like to me, although that Commish guy looks great now, he's on a new ABC series) Anyway, looking forward next week and will also be sure to watch Fringe. The Iron Chef/Chopped thing won't happen because Iron Chefs are the creme de la creme of the network, they can't be seen screwing up as its so easy to do on Chopped, it could possibly ruin their image. Speaking of Iron Chef, why do the Iron Chefs almost always win? Hmmm . . . Alton Brown(he's goooood to I like his show) mentioned that last night on Chopped. IP: Logged |

You're probably right. Iron Chefs are like gods. But that Robert guy is almost held in awe with his Restaurant Impossible show, and he went on Chopped. That guy last night said that on Iron Chef, you can cover up your mistakes, but not on Chopped. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Worst Cook in America, anyone? WOW. Those people scare me. One girl coated chicken in cumin and paprika and pan fried it without oil. WOW. She smoked out the whole kitchen! I love food shows. I also enjoy the cake making shows. Any way that people are able to show their creativity and passion I enjoy, especially through food! IP: Logged |
