The Miracle Noodle http://www.miraclenoodle.com/index.html The Miracle NoodleSo has anyone tried these and where in America can I get them? ------------------ I have a very strong feeling that the opposite of love is not hate - it's apathy. Lexx,They do not taste exactly like spaghetti, but they do not taste like they have zero calories either. I got them last night and put them in a bowl and poured some homemade chicken broth over it. I ate that with one drumstick about 8:30pm and I still feel full! I did get gas from it, but thats because it is ALL fiber! If you do order, dont order from the site as they don't give you the option of buying just one or two packs, it must be a minimum of 10 :/ I got mine from http://www.lindasdietdelites.com. Hey Lexx,Got these from Whole Foods a few months ago. They were just 'meh', but certainly if you're looking to fill up in order to lose weight, it's worth trying. If you haven't found them yet, please post and I'll let you know where in your neck of the woods you might be able to find them. IP: Logged |

The good thing about them is they have absolutely no taste and absorb whatever sauce, broth, or seasonings you put on them.I find that they stall my weightloss, thuogh PRolly because I needed to #2 (sorry) because the noodles are 100% fiber! IP: Logged |

Eat that and drink diet soda and you're set!!! LOLBut seriously, that is kind of good- I really can't see anything wrong with the ingredient. Sounds like a good solution for people who need the help, I would throw it in an asian style salad- might try it out- as I have a few stubborn kilos. ooh there's a rice version too http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glucomannan I hope the calcium additive is ok ------------------ “It’s an interesting thing. SunChild,It's funny you say that because they talk about how its best in asian dishes. I had some tonight with a lil sugar free tomato sauce. I used to be a diet soda addict, then I realized I drink all this damned diet soda yet I'm not skinny! LoL so I cut it. Now I drink water with fresh lemon or lime with Stevia (Truvia) IP: Logged |

I saw your weight-loss thread LEXX! I'm not too in favour of these artificial zero-cal stuff but if it works for you then it's cool with me. Just check with someone if it won't complicate your IBS or cause any other side-effect. If it's okay then GO FOR IT! It isn't artificial. It's 100% natural made from a soluble fiber called Konjac-Mannan IP: Logged |

lol... it's really funny sometimes, growing up in a different culture and some food or life-style etc that i remember as just an everyday thing become a fad elsewhere... i love these noodles. you eat them with beef broth usually. i haven't had them for ages, apparently because i don't live there anymore and i never find them anywhere else (maybe at some Asian shops, but i hardly go, i really should). they are pretty chewy and actually they don't just produce them in the form of noodles. the standard shape is a block, like tofu blocks. itself has close to no flavour, at least when they are in the shape of noodles it's harder to taste it. so you should always cook them in pretty strong broths. i remember though, i visited the country a few years ago and it was huge as a weight-control method, because they expand in the stomach. it was all sold out. everywhere. they always follow one trend and everyone's addicted. strange place. so i didn't get to eat any while i was visiting. tsk... hi Lexx, are these tofu shirataki noodles? i eat them and love them! i usually prepare them with asian sauces/dishes. i'm not a big fan of pasta but i love noodles and they are a healthier alternative. i find them in the tofu section of the supermarket- you should start by looking there IP: Logged |

i'm totally confused now. why did they put "tofu" before "shirataki noodles"? tofu and shirataki are 2 different things, and as long as i can judge not combinable in one form. tofu is made of soy and shirataki is made of root vegetables. that just sounds silly! but maybe i'm mistaking something. ...but before posting the above and making a big fool out of myself, i googled it and now see that it's a new invention! i see that the company caught up with the "slim-down trend" and came up with a whole new type of food! it doesn't look like pure shirataki, i guess they did invent the way to combine it with tofu. BIZARRE.
