(Chicken with Rice)My version of this traditional meal~ Slightly brown the chicken breasts(rolled in flour and seasoned with salt and pepper, and paprika), remove, use the oil and add more if needed to brown rice (I prefer Japaneese white rice) tho I did not have enough so I added some quinoa. Add chopped garlic, onions, paprika (which was already added to the mix) chili powder, to taste, stewed tomatos, I used the Mexican caned version, fresh cilantro and let simmer... O and one last mention....my daughter walked by twice and added some Shiner beer (born and bread Texas) to the mix.. mmmm quite healthy and tasty!!! IP: Logged |

Sorry ya'allQuinoa is a rice-like grain that is super high in protien and super good for you. It has a nutty taste and I like it much better than rice!!! It is cooked as is rice. IP: Logged |
