Yesterday about noon I wasn't sure what I wanted to have for lunch and I needed to get groceries so I was looking at what I had, not entirely happy with the choices, when I got inspired: I heated a can of split pea with bacon, added black pepper and onion, sprinkled some Parmesan into it, and then added BANGKOK PADANG Peanut Sauce before putting in some Cool Ranch Doritos. I felt something was missing so then I put some Sriracha HOT chili sauce (everyone I know calls it "rooster sauce" because of the artwork of a rooster on it) and stirred it. It was heaven to eat. I'm gonna have to remember that, it was fast and easy to make, the sauce left a pleasant feeling in my stomach and I even had to resist the temptation to make another bowl of it (when I normally have a poor appetite and usually find one bowl a challenge to eat in one sitting).
