Just curious: anyone have any favorite holiday (or even non-holiday) alcoholic beverages?

For the holidays, peppermint Mocha Kahlúa is really good and of course eggnog; I tend to like Kahlúa in general. For year-round drinks, I like sweet, creamy liqueurs, sweeter varieties of wine, basically sweet stuff. Don't like beer at all; not a fan of hard liquor in general.

Not the right person to answer this one as I find most of what you listed already too much (too sugary). I might order a coffee with Baileys once every blue moon but that's about it.
I prefer wine to beer but I will drink beer if there is nothing else available.
Definitely not crazy about alcohol in general. Because I drink rarely, I get tipsy very easily and fairly quickly.

I'm the same way about drinking rarely. I only do it on special occasions/socially (like at parties or dinners). Two glasses of wine and I'm tipsy, so I really have to watch it. My limit is two glasses of wine or three shots at a time.

I don't like to drink too much, but when I do, it's the stuff that I mentioned above. I really hate being hungover and I don't want to do anything stupid or embarrassing, so I'm pretty controlled about it.

Me, too. I had a bit of a margarita from a bottle - mixed with strawberry and lime. I remember sending an email to someone saying, "I've been introduced to Jose cuervo, and I like him!" (I'd never had a margarita before. I hardly drink.) It went right to my head.

It's always a holiday over here! LMAO j/k

A nice summery drink you might like a Mojito. Not too sugary sweet or strong alcohol tasting.

Mojito

(Cuban rum, lime and mint cocktail)

This mojito is Cuba's answer to the mint julep -- perfect on a hot summer day. Mojitos have been around since at least the mid-1800s. They were reputedly one of Hemingway's favorite drinks. According to a quote attributed to him, those at "La Bodeguita" bar in Havana were the best.

Makes 1 pitcher, or around 6 cocktails

Ingredients

Sugar -- 1 cup
Water -- 1 cup
Mint, stems removed from half -- 1 bunch
Limes, juice only -- 6 to 8
Rum, light or dark -- 1/2 of a 750-ml bottle
Club soda -- 1 liter

Method

Add the sugar, water and destemmed mint to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar is dissolved completely. Set aside to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove and discard the mint leaves and strain the syrup into a pitcher. Add the lime juice and as much rum as you like. Chill well.

Just before serving, stir in the club soda. Serve immediately over ice in cocktail glasses. Garnish with the remaining mint sprigs.

Variations

To Make Individual Portions: Eliminate the mint from the simple syrup and instead lightly crush some mint leaves in each glass. Add crushed ice, juice of one lime, 2 ounces of simple syrup and 2 to 3 ounces of rum. Top off with a splash or more of club soda, stir, and garnish with a lime wedge and a fresh sprig of mint.

This also sounds good:

Sparkling Ginger Lime Cooler

serves 6

1 (3-inch) piece peeled fresh ginger, grated on microplane grater
1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)
6 cups sparking water or club soda
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

In a blender, blend together all the ingredients, except ice. Strain and serve over lots of ice. You can also add gin or vodka too!
