I have a carton of sliced white mushrooms.

What would you make? I'm looking for tasty ideas.

Mushroom risotto.
You will need some rice, garlic, your favorite herbs, oil ,salt and pepper.
I like to sautee the rice with oil, lots of garlic and herbs until it becomes translucent and then add the mashrooms and some water and cook it on low.
You can also add leftover chicken in the end.
Don't forget fresh parsley if you have it.
Mmmm, I am hungry now.

I really liked the saute idea and did just what you said, but tossed the mushrooms with paparadelle egg pasta. It was great!

I had a box of sliced white mushrooms and was drawing a blank on what to do them. Now they're in my tummy!

I like to broil mine up in the oven with 1 stick butter(substitute other fat if you don't eat butter), sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, bay leaf, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano. then have it over rice, or with roasted chicken.
