I absolutely adore pizza, any form shape or taste I cant say no!My favirot is from local take n bake that makes a thin crust Veggie delite! So, recently I have been making my own at home. I get these gluten free, rice flour frozen pizza crusts, which are very tasty. I add a wedge or two of the skinny cow cheese, lite and a bit of pesto as a base, not any sauce, perse. I then add sliced onions, garlic, all kinds of colors of bell peppers, shitake mushrooms, grate some mozerella cheese on top, then add a BUNCH of fresh baby spinache. OMgosh! Sometimes I will add some cooked turkey maple bacon, and drizzle on the crust honey, so as to mix up the veggies with sweet and top with Thai red sauce to spice it up! Addictions...yea! IP: Logged |

Drooling right now. I don't like pizza from pizza chains, as they usually taste disgusting and cheap (ingredients, not fresh and processed), but I am from an area around where pizza is king...so... we don't play around with that. lol and I've tasted some damn good pizza in my day. Some of the best pizza can be the ones you make at home too. I do love me a pizza chock full of a variety of veggies. Load it up with veggies and i'm in heaven. I'm not big into fruit on my dinner dishes or in water (lemon) or drinks, but I do like pineapple on quite a few dishes, including pizza. It's just enough sweetness and can mix well with other more spicy or salty toppings and go together well. I'm lucky to live close to a pizzaria here that serves some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. Unfortunatelly for my lazy @ss, they don't deliver. So every once in a blue moon, I will treat myself to one and go pick it up. Damn....now I want pizza tonight. IP: Logged |

....was just remembering one of my best guy friends back in the day, who had three brothers and an awesome mom.....his mom would make these mini pizzas and load them with a variety of different delicious toppings and wrap them up and freeze them. She loved to cook and there was always great food in their house.I remember hanging out down there in their beautiful finished basement, a bunch of us playing pool at their pool table and hanging out at their mini bar, late night (they lived right on a lake) and him going into the freezer downstairs and pulling some out some of his mom's homemade frozen pizzas and heating them up for all of us to devour. Absolutely delicious. I want one right now. lol IP: Logged |
