It's a pork dish. With something called bagoong.

Bagoong (Tagalog pronunciation: [bɐɡuˈoŋ]) is a Philippine condiment made of partially or completely fermented fish or shrimps and salt.[1]

Would have been even better with green mangoes in a salad or something mmm....

LOL I knew it was of the Philippines when I saw the beer, before I dropped down to the dish!

YUM!!!

I used to work with a Philippeano nurse who would bring me different brands of beer...

YUM again!

My daughter's bfriend's mother is Philippeana,, and guess what...I am going to learn how to make Saio Pao...

What is a saio pao? Siopao? Those are Chinese I think pork buns.. But yes we have a huge Chinese populace as well.
