1 3/4 cups water
1 1/4 cups dried finely grated coconut, unsweetened
1/2 cup raisins or chopped prunes
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Salt to taste

Heat water in a saucepan until boiling. Add grated coconut, raisins, honey, cloves and salt. Reduce heat and simmer for about 8 minutes or until raisins are very soft. Remove from heat. Serve warm topped with yogurt or coconut milk. You may also serve the porridge with fresh fruit. Goes well with sliced peaches, mangos, or pineapple. Drink with lots of water. (This last bit is if you are trying to do a “purge”.)

I forgot about the yogurt or milk, and just added a little chopped peach. I made this in November, and liked it.

I've only made it a few times, but I should make more today. I'm wondering if I made it too late in the day, the other day, though, because I was still awake at 3am.

I hope nobody threw out the rest of my mango.

By the way: I deactivated FB last night. I was already feeling repulsive (literally) and then someone came along and reminded me that to some people - other than my sister - I *am* repulsive. I was a mess, so I shut it down. Although, what's weird is that someone who was trying to make trouble for me last Summer, is now talking to me nicely. So odd.

I didn't delete or block anyone. I hope nobody thought that.
