A comfort food from my childhood. I use my own canned stewed tomatos but store bought is ok. 1 cup stewed tomatoes
3/4 cup 2% milk
1 tsp. butter
1/4 tsp baking soda
salt pepper to taste. Slowly heat tomatoes, when hot, add milk. Stirring often. Heat thoroughly. Add butter & seasonings. Stir well.
Add baking soda stirring constantly til foam settles.
Add butter crackers and yum yum. (for me it`s one serving)  ------------------

Yin, It cuts the acid of the tomatoes and makes it a lighter soup blending the tomatoe juices and milk through bubbling. Sounds good to me anyhow  Try it ladies!. ------------------

Gotcha! Rumor is goats eat junk so some old shoes and smelly socks will entice the goat to browse while soup is served.------------------
