http://heathereatsalmondbutter.com/recipes/coconut-butter/ It's apparently as easy as running unsweetened coconut flakes in a food processor for twenty- to thirty minutes. Someone in the comments mentioned finishing it off in a blender. This stuff was $16 on Amazon. The flakes were under $5 at Giant Eagle, I think. I can't remember. IP: Logged |

Thank you, teasel! I've been wondering what the difference is between coconut butter, coconut oil, and coconut spread (like Olivio brand in the US.) Does anyone know? IP: Logged |

20-30 minutes in the food processor! I don't think I could take the noise. My kitchen is very small, and I would probably blow a fuse, ha! I wouldn't mind spreading the finished product over toast, or stirring it into ice cream, though IP: Logged |
