That makes so much sense, I wonder if some of the extra tender and moist ones I've tried have been cooked that way. They tasted like it.

I am going to devise my own Lemon Cheesecake with Cherry topping recipe.

(We have Cherry trees and a Lemon tree.)

Maybe my Great-Grandmother's Osgood Pie.

It is hand-written by her, on the back of the Church Calendar she used to hang on the wall.

I love Thanksgiving!

Wrap in foil with water in the pan. The juiciest turkey you can imagine!

Hey, Randall, I just found my Great-Grandmother's New England Squash Pie recipe! Now it might taste a little more like hers, eh?

It even has directions for the butternut, ha!

Thanksgiving, indeed.

Well, we only had one package of cream cheese, so it was only cheesecake tarts. Used the old family recipe for the little puffs, though.

Couldn't make the Wasgood either, no currants, darn. I usually keep them, too.

Oh, well, we need the pecans for the stuffing and fruit salad anyway.

Don't you love having a kitchen full of anticipation? (and Pumpkin Pie...)

I tried it that way, Juni.

I think it all depends on the timing when you turn it to brown.

(Thank Heaven for little things like Roaster Pan Racks...)

It was VERY moist and tasty. For once my stuffing was right (to my taste.)

My daughter made the tastiest Cheesecake known to man...

I did not muck around with the whole turkey in the fridge all week by making Turkey Bolognese, with celery, onions and tomato sauce.

Stripped the turkey, tossed in veg and sauce added turkey to the croc pot and simmered all night.

Can make everything from chili to sammies to pasta with it

Excellent idea!

My daughters will make short work of all the left-overs.

NOT A PROBLEM.

Me, I don't think I'll eat for a week...

Oy.

Two biggest hits this thanksgiving were beef steak in roasted onion petals and cheese rollups with garlic

They also loved the deviled bacon and eggs

Sounds fantastic. I use sausage in my stuffing and the combo would be tasty.

Thing is, have to add a protein to bind the stuffing

And do not make the mistake of pressing down on the patties when they are frying..cooking is more a "feel" thing

It really transforms dressing. Amazing what a little oil and a pan will do!
