I've been juicing a lot lately... my base is the kale stems and leftover veg. trimmings that aren't pretty enough to go into my recipes.I've got a Champion juicer - it came highly recommended as one of the best for extracting juice and I can say that I am extremely happy with it. So at the end of juicing i end up with some very wonderful fruit and vegetable pulp, and in the wintertime i'm too lazy and cold to walk all the way to the end of the yard and dump it into the compost bin. An alternative would be to raise earthworms in my basement for my summer garden using this wonderful pulp as food. Has anyone done this successfully, raised earthworms indoors? IP: Logged |

I use this for my pepper planets BUT you have to be careful cuz too much can kill them. It makes the soil acidic.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ok, thanks. I will keep that in mind, about the acidity. I'm still interested in the earthworms. I will do some research. IP: Logged |
