Thought I would look up a few new recipes for infused vinegars. Came across this company that lists some great products. This is a great inspiration for experimenting at home. Video shows the company promo. Web site lists the infused vinegar products. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3_JXuvX2WMA http://www.valleyvinegar.com/emporium.html

Did you ever answer my question, Padre. Can you use any kinds of fruits that are going bad like mangoes? Thanks! xx ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

You're welcome Side note: Here's my standard salad dressing recipe; it can be altered with spices and ingredients: Olive oil Balsamic vinegar Lemon juice Salt Proportions to taste. I usually pour and count 3 seconds for olive oil, 1 second for vinegar. But I guess that could vary depending on your container. I use blue or brown colored bottles with a pour spout inserted on top (like the ones used for liquor found at a restaurant supply store) IP: Logged |

Yep, have discovered that one needs a mother to make it go faster, and one needs to chop the fruit up to make it decompose (see rot) faster The sugars in the fruit will make vinegar happen, so exposing more surface area will just speed things up. the mother is an interesting thing, think of a sort of culture that can produce vinegar in darn near anything, it also has the most micro biotics in it IP: Logged |
