About 1/2 hour drive from my house is a country farm dairy that serves the best ice cream sundaes, mostly because they produce the best tasting ice cream and use real fudge, not chocolate syrup. They serve free pretzels at every table which is a nice supplement. Growing up I loved dipping pretzel sticks into a bowl of fresh vanilla ice cream.

Quantity is always an issue, because I like having ice cream for desert not for a main course. Sometimes I like bananas with my ice cream sundae, but the banana splits are always so huge. Way too big for someone with my stature to consume comfortably.

Here's the part that is hard to admit...
I sneak a banana into the restaurant and hide the peel when I'm done. I do this as a ritual with one particular friend of mine. I just can't see ordering and wasting half a banana split. Maybe I should order a sundae with a banana on the side?

We've done this so many times I'm starting to feel guilty about it. Is this creating bad karma or what? Anyone else sneak food into a food vendor establishment (movie theaters don't count)?

Unless they explicitly say, No outside food, I think you're in the clear. After all, you are giving them your business. Is it much different than someone bringing a little packet of honey in their purse to use in their tea? Or their own Celtic sea salt (which comes in portable sizes for just this purpose?)

Good point. I didn't think about that.

Salt and sweet is amazing, PS. There was a little gift shop near me that had samples of choc covered potato chips. They were so amazing. The same goes for choc covered pretzels. I like weird combos like that. I am gonna do a thread on it

Chocolate covered pretzels are not weird, they're incredibly delicious, but you have to have good quality pretzels and choc.
I make my own choc covered pretzel candies and choc covered pretzel rods covered in sprinkles.

Don't feel bad about it, I would be worried if you didn't have any fun/naughty habits like that. My aquarian sun condones it

I have my own "bad"/fun habits (that don't harm anyone obv!). I shouldn't explain though... Don't want to incriminate myself. Let's just say I'm a legend at my college.

The choc covered pretzel rods are great party treats for kids - even a great party activity.

Just melt the chocolate for a minute or two in the microwave and squish it around with a rubber spatula to make it liquid as it continues to melt.

Then dip in 1/2 of the pretzel rod and sprinkle candies over top. Let sit on waxed paper or put them in the freezer to set for about 5 minutes.

The microwave makes it real simple and you can start with a good quality chocolate bar or chocolate chips instead of the chocolate wafers.
