No need. There's a restaurant nearby that makes it fresh every day. They don't advertise selling it fresh like that but you can ask. Way better than buying it packaged at a supermarket. Not as adventurous as making it on your own. My brother makes his own soy milk at home.

What's involved in making it?

Never mind, I looked it up. I thought tempeh and tofu were different names for the same thing. They are made from the same product, soy, but tofu is a curd (bean curd) and tempeh is fermented. One uses heat, the other doesn't.

How did you make yours. Do you use it as a meat substitute?

I got a culture pack and then the soy beans. It was totally amazing. I should do it again cuz Tofu is pasturized making it a junk food, basically
