An excursion to Williams-Sonoma tickled my soul yesterday. Stepping with a bounce in my feet across the threshold of the store, strolling in and out if the displays, chatting with customers (men who cook turn me on).

Here's what caught my eye ...
Spiralizer by Padermo, a simple mechanical device that transforms vegetables into perfect unending spiral cuts and ribbons.

They had one on display with a zucchini mounted onto the handle that you crank by hand effortlessly. I had to experiment. Vegetable noodles came out on the other side of the blade attachment, flowing like magical locks of curly hair. What fun!

Then, competing on the counter adjacent to the spiralizer was an air fryer that produces curly sweet or rwgular potato fries with only 1 tablespoon of oil.

I love that store. Visiting is like being an 8 year old in a penny candy shop except that nothing costs a penny anymore.

Some day I will get an enameled cast iron pot from Le cruset. Some day.

I don't like too many gadgets in my kitchen. If I can get 1 machine that does everything I will be very happy.
