It's marinating in the fridge, overnight.
I'd like to hear of any recipe that's nice, though. We had an Indian family friend named Tajinda, who gave us a proper tandoori chicken recipe when we were in England, but mum no longer has it.

I've made something similar but instead of the variety of Indian spices I just use garam masala.
Also, no patience for marinades here. I just cook the chicken in spices and veggies until everything is homogenous and serve over white rice, topped with yogurt.
It's much easier, takes one dish (very little cleanup!) and it's delicious.

I searched high and low for garam masala, earlier this year, and finally found it simply sitting on a spice shelf at Krieger's.

I usually prefer the faster way of doing things - I left a mess in the kitchen, that I have to clean up today, so thanks for the suggestion. I used coconut milk this time, with the lime juice added.

You are welcome!

I'm all about simple meals with a few added ingredients.

A base of garlic, onion, tomato and peppers, all blended together, is all you need to build your meals on - applicable to almost any cuisine.

You can make all sorts of stews and curries with the above, soups too.
