For those of us who like to cook (or feed raw) to our pets.

I'm out of practice, but have been trying again recently. I'll post anything here that my cats and dogs seem to enjoy.

Cookie recipes could go here, as well.

My friend makes dog biscuits. I will ask for the recipe.
I used to make frozen pop treats for my dog but I don't remember how. I will ask around.

we would give our late dog boiled rice, meat (usually chicken), the bones, and occasionally greens. He lived about 13 years before he was run over by a car.

I would love to have some of these. I found a great organic dog food I feed mine and her coat is sooooo soft like the best silk you could imagine. Touching her is incredible. She is a long haired silken terrier lol

I tried to get my cats to eat raw food I made for them. They weren't having it, I tried cooking some too, they still weren't having it. It smelled really good when it was cooking too, it was definitely human grade but they are just snobby I guess. It made me sad, I bought I food processor just for it too! Oh well now I just use the food processor for myself

My one cat is pretty wild and catches his own birds all the time and eats the whole thing too! I like to collect feathers and birds feet etc so I went to check after I saw him eating one of his catches and he eats the skulls and wings and everything, literally only leaves a few feathers behind! Such a good little non-waster he his.

Our cat was an outdoor cat. We found that the perfect meal, with everything a cat needs for nutrition, is packed into a tiny mouse or vole. She brought home snakes, a weasel, birds, frogs, anything that moved. You don't really have to worry about feeding an outdoor cat. If a mother is an outdoor cat she will teach her young to hunt and eat.
