Well, I love baking cookies, and since my pecan pie revival I decided to switch out all of the ingredients for my cookies as well, using whole grain and multi grain flours, coconut palm sugar, maple sugar, date sugar, raw sugar, etc. Now, can I finally justify eating more sweets? Umm........ Yep!

To die for and simple, but could do with less butter and sugar. I reduced the sugar by 50%. http://www.thekitchenmagpie.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-recipe-crispy-crunchy-delights Whole wheat flour would be perfect for this, and carob chips if you have any. I still prefer the rounded flavour of chocolate. Butter should not be substituted in the recipe. IP: Logged |
