Avocados are good for you in their own right, but they also boost the benefit of certain other foods.

Avocados are full of surprises. For instance did you know that an avocado is not only a fruit, but it is a berry? Yep, technically it’s a big berry, but like tomatoes it is used as a vegetable in the kitchen. Whether you’re calling it a fruit or vegetable is beside the point. The real point is avocados are extremely good for you.

I wonder what you could do with avocado seeds (besides plant them)?
They are so dense, like mini billiard balls. Can you picture playing pool using heavy duty chopsticks on the kitchen table?

No kidding! I would never have thought you could eat the pits. Funny how I never saw avocado pit powder in the health food store, but I searched a fee web sites and found that some people put the powder in smoothies.

The seeds can be roasted and ground as well but I don't know anyone who has done this.

I love eating avocado diced in salads. Simplest way to enjoy them. "Hippie Salad", with avocado and sprouts, and mixed shredded vegetables. All vegetarian.
