I didn't have chocolate (haven't seen any vegan option here), so I used nuts instead.

Also, I ran out of oats flour. I just had 1 cup. I decided to use 1 1/2 cups of oats, which are in a state between flour and instant oats.

They were super delicious. Will definitely make them again (next time using your proper recipe, hopefully with vegan chocolate chips)

😮 🙀 omg you did? Wow that makes me so happy! They look great! ❤️

It's my pleasure! By the way, I am a plutosurvivor too! 😅

You can also use ground flax seeds, instead of ground chia seeds. Both work just as good

They can be ground by a coffee grinder at home if you can't find them ground in stores. You can make it as fine as you want. A black and decker coffee grinder costs about 20$ and it's very useful! That's how I grind most things.

Oats and other things can be processed in a food processor to turn it into flour.

Just some tips. 🙂

If you have any questions, feel free to ask and if I know the answer I will gladly reply! I am always learning something new about veganism.

Much love,
Spica. 😘

They don't really have a taste, hence the need for flavourings.

I'm slowly moving into veganism If there are any vegans out here, let's share recipes for dishes, smoothies, etc. Maybe some of you have links to nice websites? I have a little baby and not as much time to be cooking anything sophisticated yet, so I'm especially looking for some easy dishes.

Anyways, after many failed attempts to make vegan pancakes, I found a good recipe and tweaked it just a bit to my taste. It's easy to make and doesn't require many ingredients.

Vegan pancakes recipe:

* 1 banana
* 1 cup of plant based milk (I only tried cashew and soy milk, and I prefer the latter in this recipe as it's thicker)
* 1 1/2 cup of oats flour
* ground cinnamon to your taste
* sugar to your taste ( I use muscovado cane sugar)
* small drop of oil if you don't have a non-sticky pan

Blend or smash well all ingredients together. Fry each side for a min on a medium heat. I usually put a small bit of (sugar cane) syrop between each pancake to make them a bit softer.

Letme know if you'll try to make it

I am gonna try this and the yummy cookie recipe!

Hi, I'm a vegan.

I like making vegan oatmeal and chocolate cookies.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
- oat flour (2 cups)
- chia eggs (2 tbps)
- a pinch of cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
- water (if needed)
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/4 cups or preferred amount vegan chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
- a small pinch of baking soda and baking powder
- 1/8 cup grapeseed oil or any preferred oil

Mix all the dry ingredients and then mix the liquid ingredients in it, add enough water so that it looks like a cookie dough if needed.

*To make chia eggs: grind dry chia seeds in a coffee grinder. When formed into powder, add water to it and mix it well. The texture should look like that of an egg white.

It makes about 8 - 10 cookies.

When you put the cookies on the parchment paper, make sure you prepare the cookies shape before hand because the shape will not melt and spread in the oven.

Bake it for 20 minutes and make sure to keep checking.

Adding this to my recipe collection.
