well I sometimes prefer beans but they are so plain, but it's easy to make them delicious. all you have to do to your beans, is (after they are pre-boiled) heat them in the ro wave mic. add in a bit of tomatoe (pasta)/salsa -whatever you crave- but i'd try one of those- sauce, and a bit of cheese (ANY TYPE), enough to crave your desire. (not too much though like a whole block) and then heat it back up for 25 more seconds. then take it out and add salt, mash it up, get 1 or 2 pieces of toast, butter the toast. put the mashed beans on your toast and it is a full serving of protien and is not just plain beans. tastes great. there is this really rare and delicate flavour of beans and cheese, but it has to be the perfect combination, the bean and cheese burrito usually has a superficial flavour (almost like freezer burn), but when you do it yourself- sometimes you can touch the heaven of the perfect blending of the two. rarely has it ever happened to me (have i seen ho-oh the pokemon) maybe it has happened for me once before in my whole life. oh well fast food tacos/burritos are great. i was thinking of the frozen kind even though that is the only kind i ever have lol when i was first vegetarian, i never had enough protien. so i look to beans as such as sitting next to a warm fire, they are the most important nutrient. though i occasionaly eat a bit of meat every few to several days once or twice or even more depending. i got some white cheese, i believe that is the way to get the perfect cheese-bean blend, is not yellow cheese, but white. it creates a very good texture, but not with garbanzo, garbanzo is slightly acidic in taste, i think. red kidney beans are more savoury, and that is the one where i met the perfect bean cheese combo with. it has to be white cheese, i tried it just yesterday and i came about 65% close. 100% would have been exactly the perfect legendary flavour, 65% is not even there really. Maybe it's because of it being thinner sliced, but it's just not as heavy as yellow cheese.IP: Logged |

well i looked up and it says the only difference is a naturally colouring that yellow cheese has, annato, just for looks. i can not believe that because i always thought they tasted so much different, yellow much more potent. if that is the power of the mind associating colour to food, then i want to try some cheese in every colour of the rainbow and see if each one really tastes much different. would be interesting. and yeah cheese is one of my fav foods, i like to use extra. sonuds good on refried IP: Logged |

someone gave me a pack of black bean pasta. sorta slipped my mind and i thought it was just black-dyed pasta. gross. checked the labal from the garbage (had to dig it up), it has 25grams of protien, made of pure black beans. so instead of ignoring it in the fridge, i had some. i could sense it was super heavy w hich was a turn off for pasta. but since it's pure protien it makes sense. pretty fulfilling after i ate it. Annatto "All cheese is naturally white, or off white, or even a golden yellow[like pictured below], depending on the type of milk used. But you'll never find a cow that gives orange milk. The color instead comes from the flavorless Annatto seed, which gives Wisconsin cheddar that pumpkin orange hue." Strange eh. Thought i noticed a different texture and flavour from white to yellow, maybe the annato changes the flavour or texture, but it says it is flavourless. They don't have the knowledge we have today and everything effects everything else much more than we think, down to the smallest degree. White cheese seems pretty bland often, I guess it is truly the ANNATTO that i love. Hm, I wonder what other kinds of things you could blend with milk (to produce cheese) and it would add a quirkey flavour, that millions may love. Like broccoli, or broccoli seeds, or who knows what else. Who knows? Aliens know. IP: Logged |
