How did you all become involved with Lindaland? Myself, I bought Sun Signs about 17 years ago as a teenager, and it has been my zodiac bible ever since. Something about Linda's writing style 'grabbed' me, and I was hooked. About 7 years ago, I found a copy of Star signs in a bookshop. It was strange - I was not aware of it previously, though I recognised it as Linda's, it was the only copy there, and was out of print at the time... I am convinced I was *meant* to find it, and it resonated with me so much it is now an integral part of my library. I have since acquired Love signs and Relationship signs, but as I finished reading Star signs for about the fourth time last year, I googled Linda's name to see what turned up, and this site popped up. I can't tell you all how nice it was to find like-minded souls who could put into words what I could not express myself! So, how did YOU find this special place? IP: Logged |

I was a computer noobie in March 2005. New to internet too. I had just 5 days before performed CPR on my spouse at the time, when he "died". I needed something to do whilst caring for him after he "came back to life" to keep me sane. I Googled "Lexigrams" and found LindaLand. I had no idea that Linda nor anyone else was into Lexigrams aside from myself and my partner and folks from the early 1900s. I called them Lexagrammes and had been doing them since 1959 and great grandparents since the late 1800s.------------------ ~The present time is theirs, but the future is mine.~Nikola Tesla ~There is no box.~H♥ ~Balance is not letting anyone love you less than you love yourself.~Felipe ~I remember, therefore I am immortal~LEXX }><}}}(*>~ IP: Logged |

I had such a passion to study Astrology. I found LL from searching on Astrology. You know, I liked the pink/purple color cuz it is my favorite color. I think the color is welcoming.I posted my story in Personal Readings. I was treated so kindly that I wanted to be part of LL. ------------------ Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. Not all Christians feel that way about astrology. The ones who do don't understand their history very well. Christ was prepared for His teaching by the Essenes who were into mystical Judaism (astrology, numerology, etc.), and the wise men were, of course, astrologers. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I found this place years ago and it can't even remember how exactly. I am sure I was googling something or other. I hung out a bit posted maybe 3 times. I think at that time in my life I wasn't ready to learn more and be open minded.I came back recently, and I'm gonna be here as long as the site is around. I love it, Love the people, love the different things to learn/talk about. And Randall is so great at following us new ones around welcoming us until he's sure we've seen it. Haha, that's alot of dedication. Then everyone else welcoming you, it's like a lil family. Oh geez I'm in a mushy mood today sorry! IP: Logged |

Haha! You seem very open-minded now. You contribute a lot, and you are a fixture around here, for only having 85 posts! ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." My story: I didn't feel as if I "fit" at other Linda sites, so I started this one. My goal was to closely mirror Linda's books and writings with the Forum topics, although Lindaland still expanded and grew over time, and other Forums were added--the last aditions being Sweet Peas In The Rain and the Forum group headings. I never expected the site to grow very large. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I was craving something occult and didn't have any other books around me, so I looked up Linda Goodman on Google. This sight came up. I immediately went to Personal Readings and, like a noob, asked for a relationship reading. IQ patiently explained that things weren't going to work out the way I wanted them to. I almost left after that...but decided to check out the site some more. And came back the next day. And the day after that and so on.IP: Logged |

Well.. it all started when I was at Barnes and Noble, new age section. I bought a few astrology books that day and from there on out I was hooked. Man.. a whole new world opened up when I discovered there's more to just Sun signs lol. I pretty much google everything, so I found this site from looking up other things on astrology. The people and energy here on LL felt familiar, and the pink/purple really caught my attention too lmao. So.. I stayed a while, too timid to post, just reading up on all the threads, learning new things about astrology. It's pretty funny too, when I finally posted on a thread... I just jumped right in, people probably thought I was a troll LOL. Even though it read Posts: 1, I didn't feel new (since I've been hanging around). But yeah.. pretty much it. ------------------ “If malice or envy were tangible and had a shape, it would be the shape of a boomerang.” — Charley Reese IP: Logged |

I had a dream... I saw a a page with writing on it. The moon multiplied by each planet on the chart seprately. I heard a voice say write to me and then I saw an envelope with Lindas picture in the corner. It was Linda's voice, I have since heard her speak in a vid on you tube. I think she has a voice very similar to June Allison(an actress from old Hollywood)I did a google search of her name and found this site, back in 2004, I've been posting here since. IP: Logged |
