Palm down? Sideways? And do you open your hand afterwards (blow it up)?

I first turn my rings around so the stones face the inside of my fist (it's kinder to the bumpee ), then I fist-bump with my palm down so it is parallel to the floor (just kidding on that last part, kinda..)

I don't 'blow it up' - is that part of the bumping process? I just retract my fist and begin turning my rings back around.

Juni,

It's when you bump fists with another person - as a form of greeting, or when parting ways. It can also be used in place of a high-five.

Do you do it?

It's more sanitary than shaking hands.

Sometimes, shaking hands erks me because I don't know where those hands have been. (Yes, I have a thing about cleanliness).

Then there's the other issue of sloppy handshakes. If you want to make a lasting bad first impression, the sloppy handshake will do it.

I don't do fist bumbing. However, I greet those I love with a hug (I don't hug strangers) and it also means I love their energy.

when i joined lindaland this was one of the first topics i replied too lol but it showed up in the wrong forum i was pretty amused . here in new mexico fist bumping is highly proper and so very common that if u dont get one u feel awkward. first so see your friend /homie/relation and u nod .then u approach .then u slap hands low and with the upward swing u make you fist and u bump on the upswing.then the hug follows . i love new mexico

That's only half a fist bump then.
