one was on my ceiling a few days ago and I squashed it. :/

I use to like them...but my sister's old room, now mine was seriously infested with them for a year or two. wtf

The wired thing was I didn't notice a lot of lady bugs in the area/our house til Friday the 13th of 99.

That's why I'm not a fan.

and great for the crops...

In the forum OOber Galaxy..
Topic, The Secret of 13..
you will see what the Ladybug
represents...

Jesus had 12 disciples,
he was 13 the Master...
with...

Also, look up spiritual meanings
of the ladybug and,
and animal totem..meaning!

P.S. there is only one bug I kill,
the fly, why can't I let it go?
I'm a master at the death of a fly..
sorry, that's awful to share, but
it's true!

Three of them went for a short piggyback ride today. One left a yellow stain on my white shirt! Grrr.

There's a cluster of them on the corner of my window. They are all touching--like they are talking to each other.

Sometimes losing something is the best thing that can happen. Like drawing the Death card. Nature abhors a vacuum. Did it turn out well?

I lived in a house once that was infested with ladybugs. Watch out for stains in the corners of your ceiling. I had to paint before I moved.

So far the only thing stained was a shirt.

Hi Randall,

Ladybugs are supposed to be lucky charms, but they also love to be around plants. If you have any indoor plants or herbs that's where they will tend to hang around specially if the environment is humid.

I doubt they are ladybugs this late in the season.
Most likely Asian beetles imported to eat aphids on the soybean crops.
They have become a huge pest for the U.S. as is most imported crop aids.

quote:
Asian beetles have this built in defense mechanism called reflex bleeding they use to defend themselves against predators. Their blood is a stinky yellow-orange colored fluid that discourages predators like birds from eating them. This blood will also leave a stain when you squish them. If the asian lady beetle is already in the house I would suggest using the vacuum cleaner to suck them up instead of a fly swatter so you don’t have a bunch of stains on your walls and ceiling
