Uh - Oh. I have an over-active Crown Chakra. Which makes a bunch of sense because I have crazy nervous energy, a very delicate nervous system and I'm like a magnet for electric energy. And I'm under-active in my Root Chakra which makes absolute sense. I spend so much time in outer space, I fail to connect myself with to the earth. It's why I've gotten into Yoga and herbs. Root: under-active (12%)
Sacral : open (25%)
Navel : open (50%)
Heart : open (44%)
Throat : open (62%)
Third Eye : open (62%)
Crown : over-active (81%) These results show that I'm clearly more connected to my spirit then my own physical body. I guess I'll have to work on connecting to my body better, it might help to relieve all of my nervous tension. Thanks for sharing this Charmainec. I learned a lot!

@Faith,We both have under - active Root Chakra's. I guess we spend too much time in outer space  . We should share tips about trying to stay grounded. I've got very little Earth in my chart which isn't going to help the fact that I'm stuck in the clouds most of the time. If anyone else has tips on how to stay grounded, not necessarily spiritual ones but like what foods to eat, ways of living, sunlight etc? Please share! IP: Logged |

@Faith,LOL. It could help. Anything to allow you to feel connected to your environment and your body. Eating hearty foods, spending time with your family, increasing your vitality through activity. Spending more time in nature. I drink tons of herbal tea and water and I've gotten very into aromatherapy. Anything to relax your body and chill out your mind. Just physically pleasing yourself, and connecting to your physical body. Not neglecting yourself in favor of anyone or anything else. Learning to be a bit selfish  . Even having more sex, whatever makes you feel better. Connecting to our Root Chakra's is basically just about taking care of our bodies. Which at times we might fail to do. With my work schedule, and the needs of my friends and family's it's hard to put myself first. But I HAVE to. I'm learning to be more selfish a bit more indulgent. I can be way to disciplined with my body, never giving it a break. I'm embracing peace and harmony on a physical body level. ^ Thank you, great link! I definitely have to work on being kinder to my adrenal glands, as it says. I've had two children in the last 4 years and not gotten much sleep- I've either been pregnant or nursing for about 5 years straight. My nether region being "under-active" maybe means it's asleep after TOO much activity. I don't relate to most of the descriptions of what a person is like when their root energy is weak or blocked. This puts me in the awkward position of wondering whether or not I am kidding myself? Or if what's fine and normal to me might be considered under-active to someone else. It says house cleaning and cooking are good for balancing the root chakra. Yay! I can do that! I do it already, I'll just step it up. I am really into aromatherapy. I have several books on it and a big collection of essential oils, pus one of my best friends worked for a big essential oils company in Germany. We talk about it alot! Mainly I use Ylang Ylang in baths and half the time I go to bed smelling like it. All my cleaning products for the house have essential oils. Maybe it's time to experiment with other scents. I never thought I could be a patchouli girl or sandalwood but what the hey, I've got nothing to lose. IP: Logged |

I love sandalwood. It's also the most common scent used for meditation and spell work. ------------------
