Blind Faith - Can't Find My Way Home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IN1J5sMv28Q "Retro and recent images of Blind Faith members Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Rick Grech set to Can't Find My Way Home...along with images of our own blind faith as a population that does not want to see. There's no one more blind, than those who refuse to see!" IP: Logged |

(someone nearby....sounds like a car coming from a nearby parking lot, is blaring horrible rap music. I've never heard this before, or this loud...from this area where it seems to be coming from. grrrr... i like good rap music, but this is awful and it's starting to **** me off because its interfering with what I'm listening to......'bout to go out there and find out what's going on. a little bit afraid of getting shot though....IP: Logged |

where i used to live. try bad karaoke! it wasn't totally their fault. they lived across and i lived on a high floor so the noise would travel up. there were times i'd bring my gf home and we'd make out and then they'd start and we'd start laughing because it killed the mood so much. IP: Logged |

OMG that's hilarious! I would have loved for that to happen every once in awhile, especially as I was just starting to make out with someone. Just for the laugh factor. ROFL! too funny. The more horribly sung 80's songs the better. hahaha IP: Logged |

because they're associated with the best times and memories I have, Reba McEntire songs are dear to my heart & soul. My grandfather, rest his eagle-soul, always requested mother play these... all of us, kiddies, would star singing loud and awful along to them. The long drives out to camp, fishing, the beach... wherever we went, Reba kept us company. Love You (till the Cows Come Home)" our favourite. Pappy loved country, not that stuff popular in country today, but really, the old honky-tonk, western, folks/bluegrass varieties... pretty much 70's and earlier. lol BUT, my grandparents were... unique. They even liked rap music from the 90's... I owe my eclectic tastes to them and my parents, and my uncle (rest their souls too, Dad and Uncle Rich). One other comfort song would be Don McLean's "American Pie" - my bestfriend & sister from another Mister... we would call up the local radio station every night to request they air it, so often - they knew us by name. lol It is our childhood in a song... between the plays this got, and the Meatloaf, and Aerosmith (her mother was a HUGE fangirl of Tyler's... and the band in general), we were constantly listening to one of these with our usual 90's favourites, aka - flavour of the moments (really). lol Her family also kept my tastes in the eclectic realm, her brother and his Type O Negative/System of a Down-like tastes, and her (the Scorpy who teased me constantly) stepfather with his Ratt blasting out at the camp. lol Different tastes all of us, but somehow they all became related to those great and not-so-great times, experiences, the memories... that's what really makes it comfort music though, right???! ^^ Don McLean As for my own private comfort tunes... Anything by Queen, The Doors, X Japan, and Buck Tick --- those are my go-to favourites... Of course, I love Clapton... and Billy Joel. My mother and my aunt~ lol (see, multiple influences! haha) Mom had me loving Genesis/Phil Collins, The Eagles, and Styx, and quite a lot of "hippy" (early 60's to early 70's) and golden oldies (late 40's-50's)... Mom is a huge, huge, huge fan of The Carpenters... I cannot resist Karen's voice... ;; She was so incredibly beautiful, and with that angelic voice... to me... she's like the Emily Dickinson of music... I adore the Carpenters... The Carpenter's "Rainy Days & Mondays How can anyone not like em!!!?!?!? lol --- long posting again~ sorry.

For real? I guess if you'd expect any type of music in there, it would be Spanish music. sexxay... IP: Logged |
