Thank you. The money saved would be a godsend right now - my dad was supposed to be getting hernia surgery this month, but he's put it off *again*. And everything seems to cost more. It's so depressing.

I'm sorry to hear that about your dad.

Yes, I have notice the prices of many things, especially food skyrocketing over the past couple of years, steadily. And the packaging or amount of food shrinking at the same time. All the more reason to grow some of your own food if you can.

Everyone I know is struggling, myself included.

Hope your dad gets the surgery he needs soon.
