I think that word is magical. I love it; the action, the concept... It just, leaves me with such wonder! Slipping off in the dark of the night feels so disingenuous. If you're going, leave with a goodbye at least. The permanence...they have a life full of possibilities! And you'll never know what happens to them, you're just left with the knowledge they have so many possibilities. It's catching up that saddens me, not the parting. How do you feel about goodbyes? My heart skipped a beat! I was like, "Not you, too?!" I don't like goodbyes, but I realize life is short, people come and go, and sometimes a "goodbye" gives me a chance to stop and really think about a person, and what they have meant to me. I remember most people who move on fondly, despite whatever happened. IP: Logged |
