I think people are kind of too scientific or mundane to be honest.. IP: Logged |

If you mean 'not vague' or 'not wishy-washy',then the world's a better place for it and no,intuitiveness is still alive methinks...so is an inclination to fancifulness. Why else could the HP series or the twilight 'saga' be so popular cheer up!IP: Logged |

I meant people who always want to debunk divine things like astrology and stuff. Some people say they are Christian, but then they are the very same people who disbelieve in spirits, psychic prediction, etc.IP: Logged |

The world is not the way I want it to be, but I see all the ways people are progressing, despite the interference of science (which, in my opinion, is often terribly misguided but demands our reverence anyway.) And I get really happy thinking of all these clubs and movements and websites (like this) where people can come together and learn amazing, blow-your-mind things!IP: Logged |

I happen to believe a right brain/left brain paradigm exists, one mathematical and analytical the other more intuitive and empathic.Suspect this moment in time the Left Brain is coming to the forefront, as societies are becoming more technologically driven. IP: Logged |

But sometimes it's so cute...Mulder: It sounds to me like that's witchcraft or maybe sorcery that you're looking for there. Scully: No, I don't think it's witchcraft, Mulder, or sorcery. I've had a look around and I don't see any evidence of anything that warrants that kind of suspicion. Mulder: Maybe you don't know what you're looking for. Scully: Like evidence of conjury or the black arts, or shamanism, divination, wicca or any kind of pagan or neo-pagan practices. Charms, cards, familiars, bloodstones, or hex signs or any kind of ritual tableaux associated with the occult, santeria, voudoun, macumba, or any high or low magic. Mulder: Scully? Scully: Yes? Mulder: Marry me. IP: Logged |

^^You might want to consider some artistic path, or if you have a lot of energy then something like dance and/or performance art. IP: Logged |

They are rebooting X-Files. I'd like to see the two reversed: A lady Mulder and a guy Scully. quote: Originally posted by PixieJane: But sometimes it's so cute...[b]Mulder: It sounds to me like that's witchcraft or maybe sorcery that you're looking for there. My sense -- and I have no real scientific evidence to support this -- is that everything is progressing in perfect accordance with natural and metaphysical law. There is an impeccable universal order which determines the paths of all particulars. Even those us who doubt and rebel against this idea, are simply doing our part to maintain equilibrium. The ages of the world tend, like a pendulum, from reason to romanticism and back again; always evolving toward a higher synthesis of these two immense principles. The high point of the pendulum, in either direction, is not excessive, but compensates for the former and latter swings in the opposite direction. We only appear to part ways; while harmony rings in the space between.IP: Logged |
