I don't see that being a problem here. This is mostly a relationship advice forum with some astrology thrown in.

Eh... I think that all three of you have made valid (and with humorous accuracy, on Kerosene's part) observations. All of these sites have their irritations, but I see it this way: It's a public forum that is basically open to anyone, barring any exiled members. It's free, and we all get what we pay for. Sometimes I learn interesting things that I wasn't aware of on here, and sometimes I roll my eyes. I think we all do a little of both. Sometimes I laugh, which is great. I actually find that other sites I've gone to have a far greater population of pompous prats than this one. I like it that people are laid back here (most of the time), and you can learn a little something along the way. But yeah, to what Zander mentioned; I think that many of us can get too wrapped up in fretting over the minute details of astrology, and while it pays to be aware of the blueprint, so to speak, we can decorate our lives however we see fit. But whatever works for each individual, IMO. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in astrology and it stresses me out, so I have to take a step back and just live life. No one asked for my opinion, but ya got it anyway. IP: Logged |

Yeah! Agree with the pompous people on some other sites. I tried posting a synastry chart on one a while ago and they told me off for not using the right charts, which, incidentally, are as the same as the ones posted here. Ugh!IP: Logged |

I know what you mean. Well anyway, back to the positive... The good thing is that you can gather information, to a degree, on most sites. You just have to put up with the idiosyncrasies (or not). IP: Logged |

Actually things like astrology should be considered as an addiction, not belief if you use it too much. What really ****** me off about this site, is that people are way too stereotypish. Ok your opinions, I don't care about them, but when you go like: That sign is better than the other because it has these features blablabla. No. Actually every sign can be the same, it depends on the person, not the god damn SIGN! And then when I point that out, people seem.. confused, angry because they were way too addicted to this thing that they forgot who invented astrology in the first place. Humans did. Not some star that communicated with us with some magical invisible powers and told us to believe astrology. It was our choise. It's a good way to escape from everyday reality though. You read some things that may encourage or discourage you. To me it's like reading a good joke that makes you feel better for the day. I don't mean astrology as a joke, but it is for me. But forget this, I'm probably just making another conflict, plus this is not the right site to state a negative opinion about astrology. IP: Logged |

Yes, I agree. I hope we can still be friends even though we may have asteroid differences

I personally am loving this site! I know one can get caught up with astrology or using it as a scapegoat to facing reality.I feel concerned for some individuals that come to this site saying I lost my job, boy/girlfriend, life is terrible etc. It's like a saying in the bible "The Lord will provide." Well you can't just sit back and wait for it to happen. Astrology will give you guide-lines but it is ultimately up to you to make things happen for the better. IP: Logged |
