This was thread I was refering to in SPITR.
I started this thread because I don't wish to participate in the other one.

There was another thread where you wished me well for my health (I think that is the one which surprised me).

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum25/HTML/004416.html

I understand that posting online makes it difficult to detect tone etc etc. In all honesty I let it go although I really wanted to ask you about it. There was a time I was paranoid about members here at LL due to things which happened in the past and I wondered if you were one of those who came back with a new username.

Not long after I posted in the SPITR thread, I kind of felt bad because looking from another point of view, it does appear that you were being singled out. I guess I saw it as an oppotunity to "clean the air".

You are a good Mod.Period. I'm sorry if anything I said made you feel bad. It was not my intention and maybe I shouldn't have chosen that particular thread to bring it up.

Oh, don't stress about bday threads. Anyone who gets upset about who did or didn't wish them is being petty imo.

I didn't see that until now. I looked around and it appears I only posted just before going to bed or just getting up (typically before breakfast) and spent less time here back then than I do now. I used to skip nearly most threads back then (I still don't view every one) as I just didn't have time. That one looks to be an exception, I'd guess it was right after lunch for me and probably just before running errands (likely OL killing time waiting for a ride to show up). If I'd seen your response I'd have let you know I had nothing against you and that you shouldn't have been surprised (and that I was surprised by your surprise).

And I don't mind your bringing this up in the other thread...but I'm glad you made a new one here so that other thread can, hopefully, die a graceful death. I believe it was started with honorable intent, Odette "trying again" once her temper cooled (and mine had the chance to do the same), but the thread did get a bit sidetracked (I'm wondering if hijacked is too strong a word) and I made the choice to tune that out as the thread was made to soothe tempers (at least I believe so), not be exploited to create (continue?) new drama.

And overall I found the thread mostly positive. Most people were supportive, Odette was standing her ground (which is fine) but wasn't trying to continue the fight, and Randall was nice (I'm not counting where a couple thought I'd closed the other thread out of spite since that was an honest mistake that got cleared up). Yours was the only one that was critical (constructively!) of me that I didn't tune out as it wasn't attacking me but rather sharing a perception, one that confused me as I don't recall ever deciding you were too annoying (a bad day is always possible of course) and usually when I do find someone too annoying I tend to just ignore them (even to the point of just skipping their threads and scrolling past their posts) rather than continually sniping at them.

I don't know why you thought I didn't like you but I bet had we talked in real life instead of online that you wouldn't have thought so because my expressions and tone of voice would've been apparent whereas that's all pretty much left to the imagination on a messageboard.

Thanks, Pixie. Glad it's all cleared up.

I should have asked you a long time ago. I got the impression that you didn't like for some reason because you gave a hard time about bumping a thread once. I imagined you scolding at me from the words which you posted. It didn't make sense for me because it was a topic I was participating in and bumped it because I had asked another member a question and thought they didn't see it.
It was some time ago. I did reply back to your comment on that thread but you didn't respond. There were other times with the what seemed to be snarky comments.
Just elaborating a bit more so that you can understand why I thought you thought I was annoying.

You handled the situation in SPITR pretty well.

Thanks again for hearing me out and your willingness to resolve this in civil manner. You're a Libra, right?

Now I don't have to walk on egg shell around you anymore. <<< That is my humor. Only teasing you.

I think I remember that...as best I recall I was wondering what the "method to the madness" was for threads getting bumped as it all seemed random. I believe I'd asked Randall and he never answered. And if I'm remembering correctly I was asking you (certainly someone) why because I wanted to know...not because it was bad but because I was confused and I like to understand things, especially when it comes to motivations I find baffling. Whoever I asked mistook my curiosity for criticism and was very defensive so I dropped it.

In any case, I shake things off pretty fast, must be all the Sag in my chart. What's in the past is usually just water under the bridge to me. If someone gets on my bad list then usually it's because of a long pattern in which I expect more of the same, and even then I can let it go if I think they've changed. Otherwise I tend to take people like weather...if I don't like it then exercise patience, the moods, like the weather, will change (in the meantime take certain precautions, 'course I can get annoyed by the heat or sudden storm, I have "weather patterns," too ). Come to think of it that's also like people I avoid, just like I wouldn't live in some places as the weather is bad too much of the time.

Cool beans.

We can move on. It also allows me to get a better understanding of you.
