I wish I could play LL matchmaker and make a reality TV show out of it. *Not saying who I would pair with whom* *But it would be worth watching*

Some of the best times of my life, I spent camping. I even hiked the Appalachian trail with some friends once...part of the trail. Not the whole thing. And we didn't eat squirrels like Eustace Conway would...it was packaged noodles.
That's something I've thought about doing a few times - hiking the whole trail. I might get to it someday. Awesome that you've done part of it. & like you, it would be packaged noodles all the way for me. No way could I eat a squirrel. I was watching a show - Live Free or Die recently and had to turn away whenever one of the guys killed a packrat and then proceeded to show how he skinned and then cooked and ate it. *queasy thinking about it* something else i wanted to say to you, but can't remember now...... it'll come back to me... I'm the kind of person who stays up really late talking to people about midgets. I wonder if something needs to change. Frickin Capricorn IP: Logged |

Oh yay, T is back! I'm really intrigued by all that...eating packrats and stuff. Ever watch Bizarre Foods? I am sooooo happy I'm not the one eating the tarantula but then he's like, "Yum! SO good!" and it makes me wonder. I really want to hike the whole Appalachian Trail. One of the guys that I hiked part of it with went back and did the whole thing the next year. My best friend saw him right afterwards and she said he looked like a skeleton with a beard. I think it a) might be harder than I am assuming b) might be harder for girls because of crime threats So I would have to do it in a group, I guess. IP: Logged |

LOL Yeah, I've seen a few episodes. One where he ate like half formed hardboiled chicks. *vomit* I shouldn't be saying anything, because I do eat eggs and chicken......it's just......gawd i can't even think about it......little beaks and eyes and forming feathers and all. just YUCK. I haven't watched the show since, tho I did like the guy and his laid back personality.IP: Logged |

*probably shouldn't have laughed at: "looked like a skeleton with a beard" ....but i did. Poor guy. and a) yes. b) YES! I'd prefer driving and camping along it at this point. I enjoy nature, but at this stage in my game I know and accept my limits. Would rather enjoy nature in a less rugged way and enjoy and focus more on the beauty and less on survival. IP: Logged |

Sorry! It's almost 2 am here and I should go to sleep. Something about weird food and dwarfs keeps me riveted...like I have to resolve these problems before I can sleep. *confusing* It's not that way, I know...but I'm really tired and it's almost like a weird dream. Yeah....I should go to bed. Goodnight, thanks for the conversation and midget videos IP: Logged |
