Since I seem to be confused and on the verge of a ban, I'd like to know a few things so I can tread carefully as I never everrrrrrrrr want to leave LL. Perhaps this can be informative for many members here too.

Are we allowed to opine and feel on H&H? If I feel targeted and am delusional enough such that I would have sporadic bouts of false thinking, as you call it, does that warrant a ban? Just curious. So that if I am not allowed to feel, I can refrain from doing so. If such is the case, then why do you and a special others here get to feel that there is no drama and instigation here orchestrated by a specific peoples, and that you are entitled to saying whatever you like (and feel) over and above the comfort of someone else whose right to feel would be negated either by a closed thread or a threat to ban?

Also, a member here (Bella) discussed her feeling that a group here is being targeted. Why did another member (Florence), who had nothing to do with the situation or any of the conversations, get to not only respond with her feelings but especially, in quite a covert manner, refer to Bella as having "victim mentality". To me, that was uncalled for. Bella did not specifically mention ANYONE in her post. Why did Florence get to respond to it by implicitly insulting her and you did not warn this person? Just pointing out some inconsistencies.

I'm confused. You can do the easy thing which would be to close this thread and/or ban me, or we could discuss the rules here and address the problem so that you can educate me and a many ignorant and delusional others of the system here.

Let's have an open fruitful discussion of the issues here because it's the right, appropriate and fair thing to do. This tactic of throwing your word in and shutting down a thread is not healthy. I am a chatty Gemini Moon, I *need* to talk about my feelings; hence, my chronic thread openings.

No one is targeted here. It's called respect in which many expect yet don't give it. If we all treated each other respectfully these things wouldn't happen. If we dropped unnecessary, thread-closing comments threads wouldn't be closed.

I saw nothing in that thread to warrant what Bella said. Everyone was getting along well it looked like to me. Her comment seemed to come out of nowhere. Florence hadn't even posted prior to it.

Which comment- the original or the response? That changes my answer to you.

Florence never posts in our threads, you don't think that is suspicious? Why would she need randomly jump in and accuse me of being paranoid.

Florence didn't post prior, she didn't need to post and insult her whatsoever. People have feelings Randall. If she feels targeted, why is it that she can't talk about it? If she wants support from her friends, why is it that she can't have it? If this is a war on perception then that's something else, but no one can deny anyone's feelings. Look at the amount of threads shutdown. We have the Venting Thread on SP, right? Do you see the comments there? Me thinks they are 50 times worse (and quite telling of the dynamics here). Why can't we vent on a forum (about nothing) and in a thread (actually dedicated for a specific people) about how we feel? This is my question.

Don't worry PD, Randall will never ban someone like you. He will threaten it, but won't actually do it. You are too valuable to the site in so many ways. Not many people like you come around here. I've seen this whole happen with people time and time again. & this is exactly the type of thing he and this site thrives on. It keeps the viewing numbers up. Try as I might not to play into it, I sometimes get sucked back into it still. The best thing to do is ignore and don't take him too seriously.

Barbie, an honest question... In the thread in 2.0, did you really need to bring up that you are targeted on LL? Was that at all relevant? Do you think that you saying what you did wasn't an instigation of some sort? Let's be real. You always jump in our threads and police even the slightest complaint, don't you? Why did you feel the need to do the very thing you constantly penalize others for doing?

The only few who complain the most about the rules, and them not being to their liking are the 4 who post here the most.

Where does it say that we can't vent, Randall? I have had a long running thread with DF in which we have vented about multiple things, what's the issue there? People should feel free to speak. Prohibiting them from doing so only gets us where we are right now: having this discussion! Do you not see how this is a vicious cycle?

I don't have issues with Florence. I did not appreciate that she randomly dropped in to instigate, thats all. You can tell by her initial query and responses that she did not have good intentions.

I wouldn't have responded the way I did if she came in just to chat.

No one insulted, though, Randall. I never did and you threatened to ban me. Bella didn't insult, she was complaining because she was frustrated then she got attacked. What bothers me is the lack of sensitivity. It hurts because that transit she was complaining about was the very one that pushed her to take her life and then we have someone prancing in and calling it "victim mentality" without understanding why she feels the way that she does or understanding that there is a backstory to it?

I'm not one to start drama but I swear on everything and I have told you this on the long email I sent you that you never responded to, that I will not let an injustice occur without speaking up. Think of me as a highlighter. I just draw attention to certain points and comments that are problematic and perpetuate the flawed rules I've critiqued 3 weeks ago.
