Okay, impure thoughts have been vanquished, but I still have Georgia on my mind... GEORGIA ON MY MIND - RAY CHARLES Georgia, Georgia, The whole day through Just an old sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind I said Georgia Georgia A song of you Comes as sweet and clear As moonlight through the pines Other arms reach out to me Other eyes smile tenderly Still in peaceful dreams I see The road leads back to you I said Georgia, Ooh Georgia, no peace I find Just an old sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind Other arms reach out to me Other eyes smile tenderly Still in peaceful dreams I see The road leads back to you Georgia, Georgia, No peace, no peace I find Just this old, sweet song Keeps Georgia on my mind I said just an old sweet song, Keeps Georgia on my mind

CAPRICORN RECORDS in GEORGIA... quote:
First incarnationCapricorn was the recording label for many Southern rock and soul bands in the 1970s including The Allman Brothers Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, The James Montgomery Band, Elvin Bishop, Wet Willie, Jonathan Edwards, Captain Beyond, White Witch, Grinderswitch, Cowboy, Hydra, Kitty Wells, Dobie Gray, Alex Taylor, Travis Wammack and Stillwater.*** http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capricorn_Records
*** Not the same band as in the movie Almost Famous with Kate Hudson. (Stillwater, in the movie Almost Famous, is a fictional band.) IP: Logged |

Ash Wednesday? I'm going to watch the movie, Chocolat, with Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. That's not an interesting weekend activity, but I could make it interesting by inviting all my Catholic friends and serve chocolate fondue. No, I would not be disrespectful that way but I joke about it because I grew up Catholic, and of course it goes with the theme of the movie IP: Logged |

Chocolat. Have you seen it before? I haven't. I thought I had, but when I looked up the trailer I realized I was thinking of Like Water for Chocolate...but it might actually be a better recipe to use at your fondue pot party. Like Water for Chocolate IP: Logged |

I read somewhere that after he turned water to wine, Jesus turned eggs to chocolate. Jesus must be a really good cook! Those poor chocolate rabbits though... (Is my halo slipping? ) IP: Logged |

HEARD IT IN A LOVE SONG - THE MARSHALL TUCKER BAND I ain't never been with a woman long enough For my boots to get old We've been together so long now They both need resoled If I ever settle down You'd be my kind And it's a good time for me To head on down the line Heard it in a love song [3x] Can't be wrong I'm the kinda man likes to get away Like to start dreaming about Tomorrow, today Never said that I love you even though it's so Where's that duffle bag of mine? It's time to go Heard it in a love song [3x] Can't be wrong I'm gonna be leaving At the break of dawn Wish you could come But I don't need no woman tagging along I'll sneak out that door Couldn't stand to see you cry I'd stay another year if I saw a teardrop in your eye Heard it in a love song [3x] Can't be wrong I never had a damn thing, but what I had I had to leave it behind You're the hardest thing I ever tried to get off my mind Always something greener on the other side of that hill I was born a wrangler and a rounder And I guess I always will Heard it in a love song [3x] Can't be wrong IP: Logged |

Who coined that term -- "pay the piper"? Just be relieved you don't have to "face the music". "Paying the piper" sounds easier and less painful than "facing the music". Good luck on your mid-terms, Randall. May the force be with you. (Spring Break will be here soon.) IP: Logged |

I lost, Crystal, my February 22nd Pisces. She would have been 22 today, her 'Golden Birthday'. So, just been trying to muddle through the day today...But still, I think it is really cool (& really weird!) how I ended up with so many Pisces kids too, AA. IP: Logged |
