I can speak Spanish but I sound like a moron

I have done it all on my own and wonder if anyone has done the same thing and how it worked for you.

You know, when I study languages, I forget everything. I go into a really peaceful state.

I wanted to be a French teacher but they screwed up my high school English with some crazy "liberal" new way of teaching and I never learned grammar.

That is why my commas are so funky

But, I love languages. The 9th house stellium is prolly the reason.

It's not English without grammar.

I taught myself some Spanish since my ex was fluent in it, and he said that the language was a turn on for him...What can I say, I like to please and try new things. It nearly made me regret not learning anything in my Spanish class in high school.

When my family moved to India, I struggled a lot due to inadequate language skills. Eventhough we are Tamilians, my Tamil was considered heavily accented and too pure for Chennai Tamilians liking : (
After I got married I taught myself to speak Kannada, Telugu and Hindi. Can read and write in Kannada.Since my mother tongue is Tamil, I found it easier to pick up other Dravidian languages. Hindi wasnt difficult at all.
Would love to learn French and Spanish.
