I got a voice recorder and my teacher cannot show me how to shut it off for 4 weeks. He says it is like a modem and will not get hot

Does this sound safe or should I pull out the plug, do you think.

I don't want it to burn up lol

THANKS!!

It's probably a good idea to leave it on for a month straight to see if it has any defects. It's that way for computers.

I was afraid it may burn itself out. Is that a concern, do you think, Randall?

My understanding is no, if it doesn't overheat or have a surge.

slightly warm, Randall.

I love this thing. You can playback your voice.

BOY, does your voice sound bad when you start.

In time, you can get it better, little by little.

But sometimes, it is so bad that it sounds like a parody lol

Sorry Ami, I didn't know about this until I randomly came across it! Is there a way to be notified about threads?

I agree with Randell about letting it run for a month. What model or brand is this thing? I would just unplug it when it's not being used. I don't think that would hurt it. I'd hate for it to catch fire and burn your house...
