LOL my question was about this free chart from astrodienst lol it only gves u so much info unless u wanna pay for more. I was curious as whether or not virgo also falls in h6 bc it doesn't exactly say, but then it has a tibit of info below and says I have my sun, venus, and saturn all in 6th house. Well I have sun venus and saturn all in virgo. I'm just tryin to understand cuz this was ur step one lol can't figure up a house ruler til ya know what planet is in each houseIP: Logged |

If you choose equal house--the planets will be in one house, I think. I am not that up on the various chart systems but I think this will be the case. ONE House will have Virgo on the cusp. One House will have Libra on the cusp ets------------------

Ok I think I understand that. How do u do equal house? I've went to 2 different websites to cast my natal chart to look at house positions and they both do NOT have virgo or pisces listed in any of my houses. One was on cafeastrology and the other on astrodienst. So I'm still stuck on step one here *sigh* both websites give me the exact same natal chart too. So how exactly should I determine house placements? I'm so sorry I don't mean to b a pain  I apologize in advance. I just wanna do this right and comprehend it bc I like astrology. Its so much more than ppl think  it helps me understand myself, my kids, my friends...etc lol IP: Logged |

i get what ur asking i think. it's not trad astro at all. so ur 1st house is aries. ruled by mars. mars is not in your 1st. it is in your 5th as u mentioned. so u have ruler of 1st in 5th. taurus is ur 2nd house. ruled by venus. look wher the planet venus is in the chart. for example if u have venus in libra it will most likely be in your 7th. so u have ruler of 2nd house in 7th. Hmm if I'm understanding u correctly sand, (not sure if I am) both websites r listing I have leo in my 6th house at 22.15 orb. Then it lists me as having libra in my 7th house at 5.89 orb. Can anyone tell me where virgo went to in there? Both websites say the same thing, same orb. I use these sites bc I don't know how to do equal house placement. ??IP: Logged |

u have an intercepted house then. it's still possible to do house rulers with that. leo is your 6th. ruled by the sun. look where your sun is. i think you mentioned h6. so u have ruler of house 6 in 6th. equal is easier but who knows u might connect with your interception readings or feel your planets are more you in 1 system. Yes it has leo in 6th house which makes ruler of that house the sun eh right? Altho my sun sign is in virgo. It doesn't matter to me how I cast my chart whether thru these websites or equal house placement. I just wanna do the accurate way. And I find these sites to b ok to b honest. For example they both say I have cancer in the 5th house. I looked up the meaning of that on sexualastrology.com and it describes me perfectly. Like scary accurate. Sooo let me start over. How shall I accurately determine house placements? Then I can figure up the rulers of each house. If anyone wants my birth info I have no issues giving it. As long as I understand at some point to do this on my own lol thank u both for having patience with me cuz I appreciate itIP: Logged |

No I have mars in cancer. Bday is sept 12, 1979. Yes astrodienst gave a brief description (hoping I would buy the full report) and it said and I'm quoting here "aries ascendant, mars in 5th house". But I don't understand mars is in the 5th house bc it also list I have cancer in the 5th house which is ruled by the moon, not mars. Am I making any sense? Lol IP: Logged |

Duuuh I just answered my own question I think lol I have mars in cancer and it has cancer as listed being in the 5th house so hence mars in the 5th house lol what does intercepted house mean? It also has aquarius in my 12th house then skips pisces and aries in in my 1st. Hmm...IP: Logged |

I think you may need to learn the basics before you do House Rulers. House Rulers is more like college. You may need to start, as we all did with the Signs, planets, houses etc.------------------

sure! ur just not separating the planets from the houses. cancer is the sign of ur 5th house cusp. the planet mars is there. the planet mars doesn't rule your fifth. it is just placed there. the house it rules is the house the sign of aries is found. in your case that wud be the 1st. try not to think of the sign of ur mars just where it is. the websites u use seem correct anyway. so wher is the moon in the circular chart? the house not the sign.. so wherever it is you''d say ruler of 5th is in _____ IP: Logged |

Equal House should not skip any. You have to hit on the Equal House option, I think. I never really studied the different House systems but think you will have all 12 Houses in Equal House.

Ok to answer to both...sand, neither website gave me a circular chart they just gave me a list of what signs each planet was in and then the 12 houses and what sign was in each one and listed their orbs. Altho it does say in the brief description "moon in 3rd house. Ami, it didn't give equal housing placemnt option lol I just typed in my birthdate, time of birth and where I was born. How does one figure up equal house placement without using any software on random websites? I agree with u too. I've done my sun sign, know what sign each planet is in and now I determine each house. Is that right? Apparently the software doesn't follow equal house placement. I'll do this ur way IP: Logged |

Or if anyone wants, I'll give my info and someone can tell me what's in each house and I'll say what the rulers of each house r and u tell me if I'm figuring it up right bc that's the whole point of this particular thread right?
