what confuses me is that i feel (from what i've seen on LL) that moon in cancer is very difficult although when a planet falls in its original sign is when you get the most out of the placement, thats why Venus in libra or mars in aries etc.. are good placements.. what about moon in cancer (?)

I love love love Moon in cancer. I have some info on Moon in Cancer and Scorpio I will put up. I have my first friends with Moon in Scorpio.I was afraid of that moon, I think. It seemed so intense that it scared me.
These two friends trine my moon--exact. I am such a fan of trined moons.It is a wonderful level of understanding that trumps all my fave placements, even Mars in Scorpio

People seem to have a great interest in the Moon in Scorpio. I will try to write a more detailed article. First, lets talk about the nature of the moon.The moon is a passive, receptive planet.Picture a shy girl at a school dance. Picture a mother with a breast feeding baby. Picture lovers hugging on a comfy sofa. The moon is at home in Cancer, the sign of the mother. It is exalted in Taurus, the sign of material security and comfort. It is in it’s detriment in Capricorn, the sign of the executive. It is in it’s fall in Scorpio, the sign of the seductress. What this means, in simple language, is that the moon loves to be tender as a mother. The moon loves to be comfy as two lovers who are intimate enough to relax, in the most comfortable surroundings without saying a word to fill in the empty spaces. I will discuss the Capricorn moon in another article. Scorpio moon is the focus of this article. Scorpio is the most passionate sign of the Zodiac.Scorpio moon would be dressed in black stockings and a garter belt, not comfy sweats or a mother’s bathrobe. The Scorpio moon is seductive.It is obsessive.It is jealous. It is called the” Monster in the Closet” moon. Scorpio’s passions overwhelm the tender moon. As such, the person with a Scorpio moon wars with his innermost self. He knows that there is a savage beast which must be tamed . He is the Lion Tamer.

Moon in Scorpio will be a cauldron of emotions and passions, even if he appears mild mannered. You may not see his true nature until you know him well. He is secretive, most of all. However, Mars in Cancer may look like a deer in the headlights if strong action is demanded. She would rather hide her anger in her crab shell than express it and risk rejection. Cancer Mars is scared to death of rejection. She dances around anger as the crab goes in and out of the crab shell . Another person’s anger can send the Cancer Mars in to her own shell. The Cancer Mars puts emotions in to her stomach. Cancer rules the stomach and this Mars may overeat or not eat, at all, when stress hits her. Her stomach will be an issue for her, either way. In Chinese Medicine, the stomach is the seat of nurturing, so it is no surprise that all thing stomach related are issues for this Mars.

Perhaps, the single hardest quality for the female Mars in cancer is not being able to access her own power. She may be an old fashioned woman, in this sense. She may faint, as the ladies of old, when trouble comes upon her. She does not take action, as a natural route for her emotions and passions, as does a Mars in Aries or Scorpio. She may become helpless as a Damsel in distress and wait for a handsome prince to help her pick up the pieces. One caveat for this Mars would be to take her power, as it does not belie her femininity. That is an old wive’s tale, of which she is so fond

"the person with a Scorpio moon wars with his innermost self. " yes this is definitely something i feel strongly.

you know i'm very mild mannered like you said, i'm truly the average girl next door but what i feel inside is over powering sometimes, sometimes i feel like its too much and that i cant take it.. i've been lucky to have had a pleasant childhood with loving parents, but since i've become an adult a series of unfortunate events have taken me to "the darker side of the moon" but i have managed to come out safely thanks to my optimistic sun and mars. im all about compromise, and balance except when it comes to my emotions, in that area im an all or nothing kinda person

i dont think im a revengeful person, and i forgive easily, but i do not forget even if i want to i cant..
one more thing, I never share my emotions with other people, i might confess that I’m sad or write a heartwarming poem and share it on LL (where no one who knows me in real life can see it) but I cant sit down with some one face to face and vent.. Truly vent.. First of all I fear I would burst out in tears and embarrass myself.. Secondly I don’t think they can understand, most of the time they belittle what I say or what I feel, “that’s nothing” they would say.. Well it sure doesn’t feel like nothing!!

Some things are too intense to exist. Moon/Pluto would be a contender. The moon is your deepest heart. You show it to an animal, a child, a lover and God. When your moon touches a persons Pluto, you join a club of a few. This is the love of a mother for her breastfeeding baby and a love of a woman for her lover, in one. The love is not of this world. For a lover who will hold you tenderly, you need soul mate aspects. The fling will be long gone. He left when the fireworks dimmed. Soul mate aspects revolve around understanding. If you have to explain something ad infinitum, you are not soul mates. Soul mates understand, more or less. Soul mates center around the moon. The moon is our deepest heart. We show it to a child, an animal and God. We show it to a lover.Understanding heart to heart cannot be made. It can’t be forced or bought. It is moon touching moon, bar none. If you don’t have moon touching moon, you are not soul mates, in my opinion.Soul mates involve other aspects and asteroids, too. There must be passion. Passion may be Mars/Venus, which is exciting but not “rock my world”. “Rock my world” involves Pluto. Moon/Pluto is the most intense. It is that wonderful combination of ” child to child” and passion. If you never revved a BMW from zero to ninety, don’t talk to me about Moon/Pluto. Moon/Pluto exists in a class by itself. Venus/Pluto is the stuff of soul mates, too. Soul mate love is passion PLUS love, respect and admiration Asteroid-wise,Vesta, which is selfless devotion, may be involved. Juno, which is the loyal and devoted wife energy, may be present. Ceres, which is unconditional love, may be there.Valentine which is sacrificial love i.e throw oneself under the bus, may be there.
