I'd like for this Forum to be as big as Personal Readings in a year or two.

Since I also teach here, it would make sense, right?

Yes, you have, and I appreciate it. You are a great teacher. I went to college for teaching (before changing my major) and I currently teach and mentor students in real estate and am a Life Coach, so I can spot a great teacher. Being able to teach is something innate; it can't be learned. It requires a number of variables--from communication skills to empathy to patience. I believe that teachers are born, not created. It is almost a calling moreso than a choice. And we are lucky to have several on Lindaland. I have a number of criteria I use for choosing Mods. But at the moment, my main criteria for new Mods is that the Mod be here a lot. By your own admission, you are not here much. With traffic blowing up the server and hundreds of new sign-ups a week (plus the upcoming LindaCon, which will attract more New Age types--not just those into Astrology), that is really just my main criteria now. I have Mods that are here when they can be, and I understand that and know that life happens, but I want my new Mods to be very active on the site. That is the main thing I am looking for at the moment. Someone who has a lot of free time to devote here would be ideal.

Thanks for the kind words.
About my not being "much here", it was not a matter of time availability for me. On the contrary, I remember I had explained to you the fact that I'm here a lot in addition to the hrs when the US is asleep due to timezone difference.
What kept me away from the board lately was a reason which you may already know from our off the board correspondence.
If I was a Mod, that would be a moot point.
Obviously I wouldn't have offered to help, if I didn't have the time for it.

What reason is that? And how does being a Mod change it?

It's in your mailbox. Basically I had to deliberately stay away from LL because of personal attacks that left me feeling unappreciated and sad. I don't mind saying more here but out of respect I would rather not. I have emailed you.

To sum it up, I have the time and I'd like to help so if what kept you was my availability, I assure you that is not an issue with me.

Didn't receive an e-mail. Saggi, I am about to give you special permission in Basic Astrology to resolve your Password issue.

Can I nominate SaggiMC? She's pretty thorough and knowledgeable. In fact, her posts make me want to start a new forum just for putting all her info together!
