4 degrees is too wide. 3 degrees would be ambient, perhaps imo------------------

Hi Ami , my sado at o deg. Sag is sq. To his nessus at o deg. Virgoand his vesta at o deg. Gemini .Dont know if its dark, but we have been very honest about sexuality and feelings .
Could this be the positive? In your exp. do aspects between Draconic and Tropical in synastry play out???

I am having a hard time picturing your first situation, Olga. Could you list each aspect with orbs. I don't do the Draconic, so really don't know about that, my Friend. ------------------

I would see this as the Sado's tendency to abuse or to be abused aggravates stress on the Nessus energy and brings it's out of the person, angry outbursts or the Nessus energy would bring out the Sado and the person would act it out in the manner the chart shows(depending on sign/house/aspects)....are either of the placements retrograde? At this second I don't see anything positive from this aspect alone. It's hard to say without seeing the whole chart how much it will affect the couple and their relationship. IP: Logged |

Yes, I can't see this as positive because Vesta is in a square. TO me, a square is a blocked or inaccessible energy. If Vesta were a trine, it may be positive or have a positive part to it, at least. imo------------------

I have a question please- I have nessus @ 29° conjunct mars 26° in gemini (11th hse). It also trines my 29° aqua mercury in 7th. Ok
nessus conj mars is a wide orb for an asteroid but would be ambient. In these case, the persons drives and passions can be mixed with abuse. That would be the nature of this conjunction. 3 degrees is so wide that some people do not even count it, though. The trine of Nessus with mercury is close, though. I think you would be interested in dark subjects such as serial killers etc However, with the trine, you could transmute it into good such as being an author on these subjects, a detective etc Does that fit, my Friend?

Yes very much intrigued in serial killers, how they tickand dark subjects in general. Always thought thiswas from my 8th house sun.
Am looking further into these asteroids, they are fascinating and have since discovered my husband's nessus conjuncts my mars at 26° hmmm. I don't feel the negative side of this in our relationship, he would hardly harm a flea and we hardly even argue. But I did read the information you wrote on your wonderful website pertaining to this. Thanks once again. (Sorry if this double posts)

Hi Ami Anne,
I see that you mentioned a lot about nessus and dejanira relating to abuse. So I look it up on my natal chart, and apparently I have dejanira conjunt IC and Nessus opposites mars.
Anyway, I never been abused, and hopefully I never will be. But women issue l, especially concerning domestic violence against women always been fascinating for me.
I did volunteering work in women shelter, mostly dealing with runaway teens with history of abuse. And even though I never ended the hardship and heartache that those girls suffered, I can relate to them in a way.
I think times I spent volunteered there is one of happiest time of my life. It make me feel like I have sense of purpose. I think it should do more this work in the future.
