I have noticed that people with Saturn conjunct these Ascendent and MC have a deeper than normal insecurity.Everyone is insecure. I know that I am and I assume everyone is. The natives with these Saturn placements seem to have a higher dose of self doubt. It seems like a painful insecurity as if one is wearing a scratchy wool sweater. I have noticed it both on the ASC and the MC. The MC seems worse, but I may be wrong. I need you to give me your own reports.

Saturn is a planet which is very much a double edged sword. It can give a grounding kind of stability and it can give a deafening kind of self doubt. Each planet has it’s positive and negative side and Saturn is no exception. However, I wanted to do this article on Saturn on these two angles to see what you thought.

I think the Saturn is actually a Stable position. Of course mine is Stationary.

The Uranus Moon thing is a constant source of irritation to that one, though.

They don't exactly click. MC Saturn relates well to the Moon, but not Uranus.

It might give a slightly gloomy outlook, but basically stable.

Of course I have the Jupiter Sun Trine to balance it out.

But I really Do Love my Melancholy.

I have a Saturn Rising friend, and he has quite a lot on his plate for such a young age. Maybe.

Asc - Internal perception
MC - External perception

I thought the Asc represented your early life and your physical body.

Yes. Describes it for me. Actually long ago in another thread you described it perfectly for me Ami (my afflicted Saturn/ASC). You said you saw it as a "deep sort of soul insecurity." I wish I could explain to people how uncomfortable I am in my physical body, or even with my "soul." Have cried and had nervous breakdowns just about having to get dressed and go out into the world/work. Getting a little better than that now but still extraordinarily uncomfortable and knowing its not necessary too but the feeling remains. Scratchy sweater is close but its even worse than that in a way I can't quite describe. It's an unnatural feeling like being trapped and knowing there is no escape until death. Like being forced to perform wearing the outfit of your worst nightmares but it's life-long and inescapable. Sheer amazement at (seemingly) everyone else ease and comfort in their bodies/being themselves.
