From my own observations, I noticed people with Venus in Taurus, or first house Venus exalted are very beautiful, in other words highly physically appealing. With Venus in Taurus they are usually materialistic, and focus a lot on their appearance but they are extraordinarily physically appealing, compared to other Venus positions I've seen. They have a certain charm about them, the women. My mother has this, a few girl friends of mine have this, some people I worked my way to get birth information in high school from had Venus in Taurus, or first house Venus. Their beauty is very feminine and hard to resist. They know exactly how to behave (most of the time) and how to charm others with their looks. The way they dress is far from flashy, not promiscuous at all not all the time anyway, very conscious about materialism, head to toe designer, in some way. That's been my observation. These people are very aware of their beauty. I'm not saying other Venus positions are uunattractive but I have noticed it prominent in first house Venusians and Taureans... They have got to be the most attractive women I've ever seen. The downside is they can be lazy sometimes, and expect other people to do hard work for them and use their looks as a reason for that. Very prominent in the women I especially went to school with.. What do you guys think? Has anyone noticed this especially with Venus in Taurus? IP: Logged |

My father has venus in taurus on the cusp of the eleventh house, alone on either side by 30 deg. My dad is an awesome vocalist,he has a lot of power and dynamics. My dad also has many retrograde planets including uranus retrograde in the 2nd house! Not good for a man who wants his money in order! James Brown also had Venus in taurus, but that was conjunct his sun! haha. I've got to tell you, I've fallen for two girls, found out they were born a month apart, but they both have venus 1-2 degrees of their rising libra (or in other words, absolutely gorgeous and charming) This venusian energy just exudes off these girls and everyone picks it up, this can make them really sensitive at the same time (both have moons in water), but uh, hard to resist for an aries rising guy..IP: Logged |

It depends what Venus in Taurus is doing in the chart. In my experience Venus in Taurus isn't a knock out and they are pretty boring. Feminine, yes.. but so are most women. But Venus in the first house is very appealing. Yes. IP: Logged |

Or Taurus rising?!?My older sister has this placement among being a Taurus sun she's very attractive. Im fixed on Taurus. They also dress a certain way too... Venus in Taurus. This is all based on my own observations, by the way. They have this way of going about their style and grace in a feminine way, most people cannot emulate them. Also they love designer, the word love is an understatement. Preoccupation with acquiring expensive items. Which isn't a bad thing I guess I dont know - but I relate to that. Maybe they relate to Cappy in some way expensive things = degree of status and image IP: Logged |

Maybe you have a point. What other aspects would heighten the physical appeal in women? IP: Logged |

Hard aspects to Venus,Asc ruler.Even if not good-looking,sb with H1 Venus will be perceived as one. Venus on Asc gives Venusian features, although it depends on the sign,Venus Rising will be more prominent with Cancer/Pisces/Libra Asc than with Virgo,Cappy,Leo Asc. starfox,I'd say you are loved by ladies IP: Logged |

i don't know what you look like i would presume you to be handsome (yes i like this word a lot) but in a unconventional way, non-typical. of course genetics is a huge factor, you know, what your parents looked like, ancestors etc. thats why you should always try to mate with someone attractive.. I've actually said sooooooo many times on here that I am very lazy romantically and couldn't lift a finger in any general direction. (My Venus is on NN in Tau)I'm very comfortable with who I am.. and my looks. I'm happy with what I have basically.. and I have no desire for challenges in my love life.. so if 'he' (whoever 'he' may be) loves me and he wants me - that's fantastic.. If he doesn't - I'll avoid him. I'm pretty earthy overall so I don't like drama. I like easy/smooth relationships that feel happy & friendly. I can completely see why some would find that boring - and to be honest -I feel so proud and happy to be a boring person (whatever their definition of 'boring' is - for me it's just being content and placid.. ). I see my love life as a picnic by the side of a calm lake... on a nice spring day. If anything disrupts my calm - it will be thrown in the nearest garbage bin. Often Venus conjunct Mars is portrayed as the ultimate 'great sex' aspect in synastry.. Well I have to say men who have a bull Mars are lazier than I am.. and unless we happen to literally *bump* into each other and fall on a perfectly comfortable bed together as our clothes miraculously slip off all by themselves - chances are - no one will ever make a move. This is why I much prefer Scorpio Mars. It *fits*my Venus. They are naturally dominant sexually.. and I'm naturally submissive. Works like a charm! IP: Logged |

+1 i don't understand sometimes what some people mean by excitement. some of the "exciting" things seem so boring to me. IP: Logged |

ima no on both taurus and h1 venus. i have seen some not so great specimens. perhaps if their venus was strong and they also had taurus sun and h1 venus. i dunno really. plus some taurus think they're the shizz ehehe! not an attractive trait IMO. also even if the h1 venuses aren't very venusian in physicality maybe they are very affable..IP: Logged |

I don't have Venus in the first house; I have it in the 12th (conjunct Pluto...in Scorpio...eek!)However, I have Venus trine Jupiter in Pisces in the 4th (Jupiter being my chart ruler since I have Sagittarius rising) and also trine Moon in Cancer in the 8th. What would this say about how I look/if I would be found attractive? I also have a Libra sun and Mercury in the 11th; don't have any Taurus.

For what it's worth, I don't find you 'boring' at all! I definitely pick up on your Pisces Mercury; you strike me as sensitive without being hyper-sensitive (sensitive more in the sense of 'understanding' as opposed to in the sense taking things personally or over-thinking). I've always enjoyed reading your posts And I had to say, I couldn't help but smile and chuckle a little about the Venus conjunct Mars paragraph ;-) ------------------ *I use the whole sign system* Personal Planets: Sun, Mercury: Libra Venus: Scorpio Moon: Cancer Mars: Capricorn See my profile for my complete chart. Sand, I agree, it has more to do with their typically pleasant/charming/respectful/natural (pick one) demeanor than with their physical look (barring adverse aspects to it). One glaring exception I've found personally is Libra rising with Pluto in the 1st. Takes away most of the innate charm because it's subject to Pluto's upheavals. If Venus is conj the ASC/Sun/Moon/MC then it would be more of an obvious standout in terms of looks. That goes with any planet, since those are the main power points in a chart. The other things to look at would be stelliums or strong conjunctions, but with those you'd really have to look at the dispositor. A stellium in Libra will not be so attractive if Venus is in Capricorn, vs. if Venus is in Aquarius. Aquarius, on the whole, is a stand out in terms of physical attractiveness. IP: Logged |

I know someone with venus in taurus in the 1st house and she is a beauty - she has a kind of gentle sensuality and charm about her, and always looks approachable. Even when she was a little girl she always had a line of boys running after her.IP: Logged |
