My comp is out of commission so it took awhile to get my hands on another....Im not a one-time kind of gal or is that one night stand kind of gal.... My scorpio rising is 29 degrees so it<s almost a sure bet that I have a progressed ascendant going into capricorn which will go well with my taurus progressed sun...so ill be earthier and please more stability I need some stability. brunnhilde unregistered	posted January 31, 2003 09:16 AM This laptop is driving me crazy...cant even get the apostrophes in right or a question mark or an exclamation point....how can i write without all of that...aaargh Back to the ascendant...im taking theatre classes (have to) and I really am not comfortable or even enjoy them ,I keep being told that im expressive...etc.etc....people get in my space and just all the emotional stuff tht floats around really exhausts me.ANd when I wxpress htis no one believes me because ,i think ,.of the scorpio rising the controlled facade,the wall.So far ive played a witch burned at the stake, abitch and a grieving,murderous mother avenging her childs< death.Is that scorpio enough and I don,t choose the roles...talk about typecasting. Leo is the sign I probably identify with the least. Talk of knowing thyself... Oh, well... Even so, I have to say it fits pretty well - especially the part about looking younger than your actual age. I'm 26, but according to _everybody_ I look 21-22 Once again, I can't remember my source, but I read some place that appearance could be influenced by the natural ruler of the house your chart ruler is placed in. Interestingly (for me, at least!) that means Leo again, as I have Jupiter in the 5th house. I do have a big head of hair (which I have kept long forever), but Sag rising suggests the same, so I don't know... jjjax unregistered	posted February 12, 2003 09:41 PM Moonshadow, Our assendant is what people tend to see, the first impression of sorts? Is it mostly just our assendant people see? I can maybe see some characteristics of my Scorpio rising... like "...depth to your personality that others find hard to understand or comprehend. This can be frustrating to you as you feel misunderstood a lot of the time" but as for the physical i dont realy think i am any scoprio at all???... Deffiantely not compact at 5'9! but i do have naturally muscular legs? I dont think i have an intense face. I dont think my eyes are very penetrating but in particular moods they could be? I dont have a heavy forehead, its long, but not heavy, my eyebrows arent strong, and my mouth and chin are not firm in the least. I can see the inner scorpio traits but not the outta! Im sure i have some scorpio, but could i be wrong? My dob is 23/10/80 at 5:40am, Camden, NSW, Australia. Can it be that other signs can show through instead of the assendant sign? Jax IP: Logged

All these years I have spent focusing on my Virgo-ness, not realizing the contradictions I felt were the influences of my Scorpio Asc. I am secretive, and disinclined to talk about my feelings....yet, I can get anyone to spill their life's story with a few direct questions.... The most common thing said about me is "you are SO intense..." and I get stopped by perfect strangers to be asked "Are those your real eyes?" (no, they are plastic, here, want one?) LOL I'm sure by Scorpio S-elf has NOTHING to do with the fact I have spent most of my life prancing around in black, festooned with silver chains and waaaaaaaay too much eyeliner......heheheh Cool....I like it.
