Sorry Cat, but I'd take "faithful" off the list. They may be seriously playful (there's an OXYmoron for ya-yuk yuk), but they are all about the chase and pouncing on their prey, so to speak. Sex is a big thing to them.

Just my onion.

1scorp, what precisely is a sugar daddy? Does he provide candy? Is he lickable like a lolly, soft, fluffy and sticky like cotton candy or is he hard and chewable like a hand of sugar nuts?

Plééááse tell me quickly!! I might wanna look out for him.

hehe 1scorp. i actually know a venus in capricorn guy who is a sugar daddy to his scorpio gf. methinks it's so she doesn't have to go too far to get anything she desires. luxury car and apartment, food, clothes, books, vacations, you name it he's a cool guy and she's a doll. scorpio & scorpio so cute together.

Venus in Leo will hide what they deem unfit to show off, hehe. Only pretty things here please. All the World's a Stage. Did Shakespeare write that? Big hearted folks who like the world's best in everything, and are usually big spenders. A Moon & Venus in Leo will normally pick up the restaurant bill in grandeur. I would imagine warm, and/or spicy scents are popular choices for oils, cologne and perfume. Unless there is a lot of Virgo in the chart, this placement makes a person quite dramatic socially---not the dark, mysterious type at a party.

I used to have a big crush on David Duchovny.

There is a song out called: "David Duchovy, why don't you love me?"

Cat, I think I'm very slowly starting to gain an insight into this. Thanks to Mercy, I've discovered that my Gemini boyfriend has his Venus in Leo...So I'm going to base my course work around him because I think I'll get to grips with this a lot quicker using him and his traits as an example and because he's so hard to fathom (so I can kill two birds with one stone so to speak!

Cat - I have a question...Reading what you've put about Venus in Leo (affections are warm, whole-hearted...etc)I can relate to some of that with him. However, at the same time, would I be right in thinking that this aspect is in retrograde where he's concerned. As he also has a strong tendancy to hide his true feelings, seems to fear commitment (giving & receiving), builds a wall around himself, has what I think at times is a lack of self worth, seems afraid to reveal his inner-most feelings as if in doing so would disempower him in some way, is drawn to drink and drugs....The list is endless....Is this a good example of retrograde?

Hi Tara
Wow what a coincidence that you started on the course just as we're working on Venus in Leo It's always easier when you know someone with the aspect - and even better as he's your boyfriend.

At the moment we're looking purely at Venus in the signs but yes you're correct when a planet is natally retrograde it will "influence" that planet (ie: his Venus). Also aspects that other planets make to his Venus, together with the natal house it's in will also make a difference. You'll see how it all fits together as we work through the course. Once we've covered all the signs for Venus we'll move onto the house placements and then the aspects to Venus. Think of it as a jigsaw puzzle, the picture is clearly seen once all the pieces are in place.

Hi again Tara
I just looked at his chart (posted on the astrology forum) he doesn't have a retro Venus in his chart.
Sue

PS: Drugs and alcohol are not really Venus -usually Neptune
