Hi Everyone
Ok here's the new "plan"
I realise that some sign interpretations may come to you easier than others...so I thought I'd start a couple of strings (one for each sign) in order to move things along ....Virgo cracking the whip

We've already covered Venus in Aries and Venus in Taurus here's the link to that string........
http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=dis playprivate&number=12&topic=000082

So this string is for Venus in Gemini.

Here's some Gemini keywords to get you started - please post any other keywords that you can think of......
Communicative
Versatile
Think
Restless
Adaptable
Versatile
Witty
Intellectual
Eloquent
Youthful
Lively

And if you need to refresh your memory... here's the link to Greg's lesson re Gemini's (that was at the beginning of the course)....
http://www.consciousevolution.com/Academy/Free/Week4-3.htm

For Venus keywords you can refer back to this string......
http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=dis playprivate&number=12&topic=000077

So let's party

Who's first with their Venus in Gemini interpretation

Keywords

Flexibility
Easily bored
Quick witted
Double talk
graceful
friendly
curious
restless
nervous energy
communicators
jack-of-all-trades

Venus in Gemini seeks pleasure (Venus) in mentally stimulating, airy, interesting (Gemini) relationships (Venus).
What Venus in Gem basically looks for in a relationship is fun, fun, fun! They appreciate wit and they are bored stiff by mundane, practical, fuddy-duddy, run of the mill conversations, situations and people. If you are dynamic, have an active mind and lots and lots of verbiage to spare, your chances with Venus in Gem are pretty darn good. Venus in Gem will talk your ear off at the drop of a hat, but good luck to you should you attempt to slow them down to get into a long, drawn-out conversation about one of the million topics they just breezed by, you'd be better off talking to your mirror.

At least you will know exactly what your Venus in Gemini thinks of you. They talk nineteen to the dozen, have opinions in plenty and aren't exactly bashful about handing them out.
You may need better luck figuring out how they feel about you, though. Not surprising, since they may not always be sure themselves. Venus in Gemini may live so much in the mental plane (Gemini) sometimes that they disconnect totally from the emotional.

You will require truckloads of patience and a darn healthy self-esteem to weather their restless (Gemini) love natures (Venus), their occasional glibness and propensity for double talk and their lack of responsibility (Gem). Venus in Gemini needs a solid, dependable mate with both feet planted firmly on the ground to complement and bring out the best in their versatile, energetic, happy-go-lucky natures and balance out a sometimes lacking sense of responsibility and a disdain for the details of everyday life (Gemini).

They are not necessarily disloyal (they prefer the term 'changeable'). If you can provide them with constant stimulation and intelligent conversation with lots of humour thrown in and manage to keep up an air of mystery to indulge their inquisitive natures, they can go a lifetime without feeling the need to multitask. Give them what they need and they'll hang around for more...just see that you vary the diet and give them lots and lots of space(Gem).

Take heart, they're not as impossible(Gemini ) as they seem. Trust me, I'm one of the gang. If you want to make it with Venus in Gemini, just resolve firmly to surrender all your inhibitions, go with the flow and find solace in the fact that at least you'll never have another mundane moment in your life. Not such a bad deal when you think about it, ha?

Hi Ujala
Gemini traits are always Gemini traits.
Venus is the energy (planet). The Sun's energy is different to Venus's.

Try to think of it this way......
The planet = What (energy)
The Sign = How ( that energy is expressed)
The House = Where (that energy is expressed)

Re you saying...
"like i hv sun in aries and gemini in venus...i could identify more with those traits discussed in venus in aries but i cant identify with most of these traits ..
why is tht so?!?!"

It sounds to me that you are identifying more with your Sun. Try reading the strings that explain the Sun and then read through the strings that explain Venus. The "focus/energy" of these two planets are different.

Another way of looking at it could be....
Aries = me first..... so maybe your Sun is saying to you I am first, I get your attention (don't forget that Aries is ruled by Mars and Mars is much more "pushy" than Venus...in addition to that thought also remember that the Sun's natural ruler is Leo - the Sun likes to shine, it likes attention. So combine the two energies). Now back to your Venus. Gemini is a mutable sign (and is adaptable), so could be saying to your Sun, sure ok you can lead. Venus is a softer energy and likes to please.

Cat!

Hi Ujala,

I think it's probably coz your Venus placement is only one little aspect of your entire make-up. I'm Venus in Gemini too, and I'm anything but changeable or flippant - I have a fixed Sun and Moon. But I can identify with the need for relationships which include stimulating conversation, with the lack of attention to detail (also contributed to by my Leo Sun), and an interest in absolutely every topic under the sun. I also love to talk.

My three planets in Gemini, my Aquarius moon, my Libra rising and my Merc in Virgo make it so that I really need to be able to analyse and evaluate my very intense Leo feelings on a rational level in order to come to a conclusion as to what I need to keep and what I should throw away in order to deal with and let go of a situation.

So while I may not belong as completely to the mental plane in the realm of love as a typical Venus in Gemini, I need to translate the energy of my feelings to rational thought in order to be happy. If I didn't have all the other air in my chart, I may have identified with this whole mental thing even less.

What do you think? Make any sense?

Hi,
I have Venus in Gemini and my first priority for men is for them to be intelligent. Everything else can be added later - if you have intelligence, you can more easily "correct" your personality and reach higher planes of spiritual development, you are more aware of yourself. Of course only if you want to, I've also known very stupid intelligent people , so that is by no means a rule. I need a partner who is mentally stimulating and able to talk about all sorts of things, and above all, he must be my friend (well, my Venus is also in the 11th house).
I don't have all the traits SunShyne describes, but they are modified by my watery Sun and Moon, but my Venus needs and loves witty conversations and someone whispering sweet (but meaningful) things in my ear

Venus in Gemini prefers to communicate in a detached manner their love and affection. They are gifted writers and many are known for having love letters a central part of their relationships. External and mental stimuli moves them, and is quite often the impetus for further engagement in relationships. A Venus in Gemini once said this is one of his favored quotes: "Beauty fades, but stupidity is eternal."

A Venus in Gemini falls in love with their mind first, and are known to love people with intelligent and witty minds regardless of looks.

I know of Geminis... yet the most current were Venus in Taurus and Cancer.

Darn! I'm thinking on this one.

(Okay, I can't let Sue think I enjoy all this pain. I've run out of ointment and the drug store is closed. Surely there is mercy in that Virgo nature).

Here's more:

This is a guess, but I think those with Venus in Gemini will typically purchase for themselves (as goodies) books to read, music, lecture tickets . . . and almost without a doubt there is two of something with this placement. May be two lovers, two toothbrushes, two cd players, two copies of the same book, etc. etc.

HA! Cat! That picture was hilarous! I'm laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes! I'm not kidding!

Alright, I'm going to try this...

Someone with Venus In Gemini would need someone who could keep their minds in motion. (Gemini?) They would enjoy going out to see all the latest shows and night-spots.

They would need to be attracted (venus) to the other persons conversation (Gemini). Once in love, they would bring much excitement and fun into the relationship (venus).

Alright, alright... so it was pitiful! Sue me!

You'd think I'd have dated at least one Gem with this placement! I'm sure I have... I just didn't ask for B-days back then
