To refresh everyone's memories re interpretations, also for any new comers...
I'll copy here my original post that I used as an example on the Venus in Aries & Taurus string. The example I used there was for Venus in Scorpio (I called him Jack but he's a made up person).......

VENUS IN SCORPIO
Venus in Scorpio produces a very intense (Scorpio) romantic (Venus) nature. Scorpio is the sign of physical magnetism & with Venus in Scorpio, Jack's most likely to be a very sexy (Scorpio) person & highly attracted to, & attractive to, the opposite sex. He’s likely to approach romance (Venus) with intensity & passion (Scorpio), tending to be an extremist (Scorpio) in this area of his life. His desire (Venus) could become so overwhelming that he may become very possessive (Scorpio) & sometimes jealous (Scorpio) of his partner, which can be expressed in various ways, but basically he’ll tend to want to control (Scorpio) & hold on to the love (Venus) of his life. His love (Venus) nature will be based on total commitment & he may dominate (Scorpio) & demand total involvement. Nothing short of this is acceptable as the obsessive (Scorpio) influence of Pluto (Scorpio) means it’s all or nothing.

Ok, so can everyone write a paragraph explaining how Venus in Scorpio is likely to work? Put the planet (Venus) and sign (Scorpio) in brackets after the word you've used that illustrates the sign or planet's behaviour.

Being in love with a Venus in Scorpio will likely be the most intense experience of your life. I don’t know if it’s the Venus – Pluto connection, but a relationship (Venus) with a Venus in Scorp (Pluto) is life altering to say the least.

They will want to possess your body, your mind, your soul......and they will. Because there is no human brand of resistance strong enough to rebuff the animal magnetism of the Scorpio energy. You’ll go weak in the knees, lose your senses in those hypnotic eyes and surrender your heart, while every fibre in your being is screaming ‘NOOO!’

If Venus in Scorp loves you, you are the only one they will ever want. Period. Not that that they don’t admire beauty or are any less susceptible to the charms of the opposite sex than other placements. It’s just that an enlightened Scorp Venus is a strictly monogamous creature. You-are-the-only-one-they-will-ever-want. Remember that, because you don’t know when you’ll hear it next. Scorpio is not big on verbal communication, and seeing how Venus needs communication for relationships to thrive, you will need strong telepathy with your V in S mate, or an extremely healthy ego to beat the occasional pangs of insecurity caused by their refusal to tell you that you are loved as much as you’d like; coupled with the fact that they’re just so darn sexy, there’s nowhere they go without drawing the attention of the opposite sex.

They make wonderfully sensual, giving, erotic lovers. Venuses in Scorpio never just have sex. They make love. They take physical passion high, high, high...... to the highest level, higher than you could ever imagine, and turn it into an intense, enriching, soulular experience in which you feel yourself merge with the Universe while you watch your meagre little view of the world explode into a thousand little pieces as you gaze helpless...awestruck...into the power and nobility in those beautiful eyes. Hmmm, Nirvana.

Unfortunately, they’re not always that beautiful. They can be difficult. (Scorpio!!) When they freeze up over some real or imagined slight, you will see the crystals in their eyes and hear the icicles in their voices. Your tantrum’s over? Too bad. You started it, now they’ll finish. And on their own time – not a single moment earlier. That’s just the way it works. You don’t fly off the handle with Venus in Scorpio, cool back down again and expect them to be all sweet and coochie-cooey coz you’re in the mood for some lovin’. There’s always a streak of vengeance inherent in this placement with respect to their close relationships. Tread carefully and don’t push them too far too often.

A word to the wise. Make sure you know what you’re getting into with these people. Don’t take the plunge and imagine you can walk out later if you decide you don’t want it anymore. They are mighty sentimental (Scorpio). And they will scorch you bad if you ever toy with their hearts. Pluto rules the underworld. You know how hell’s supposed to burn, right?!
Instead, use the flames of Scorp Venus’s intensity to build a fire to warm your heart forever. You’ll never want for love or devotion or intensity or passion (Scorpio). It’s a roller coaster ride, but if you can take the highs with the lows and bend with the wind, you will have the most majikal romance you could ever desire.

I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. Once you’ve loved a Venus in Scorpio, your life will never be the same. Your expectations of love will always be a notch higher, slightly purer than those of everyone around you. You may never truly recover your heart, and you certainly won’t come out unscathed, but you will live the rest of your life in the knowledge that you experienced love most people go a lifetime without knowing ever existed. And that knowledge is worth all the pain in the world.

Hey guys, speaking as a person with his Venus in scorpio, I can assure you that my interest in sex started very young, 5 or 6, and is still going strong.

I've never exibited the jealousy part of sex, but it has always been an intense experience for me.

Hopefully, I have gotten my sex drive under control finally, and at 62 its probablly about time.

Oh! Why did that one hit a personal nerve?!

Do you have the venus in scorpio? Such a great description.

Cat, my darling Virgo. I have not forgotten about the Virgo and Libra descriptions. I am trying to get my brain out of the fog .. then I will come back with my homework.

I do apologize. I'm sorry...

Ahhh. The beautiful gemini sign, huh? Honestly one of my favorites, along with anything Pisces.

Cat, I have a question. I've had my chart ran twice, and one says venus in 2nd the other says venus in 1st. I'm so, so confused.

Hi Leigh
Where did you run your charts? Did you use the same house system both times? It's usually when you use different house systems that that can happen. I don't have your birth data, so I can't check it out for you.

Venus in Scorpio demonstrates how much they care (Venus) by delving deeply (Scorpio) into your psyche. They are attentive (Scorpio) souls who want to feel (Venus) deeply (Scorpio) your needs, wants, desires, (Venus). They want to learn all (Scorpio) about you, even the parts of yoursELF that you do not know about. Venus in Scorpio in its loving best (Venus) will knOw intrinsically what will heal (Scorpio) your soul's pain and suffering (Scorpio). These Venus in Scorpio elves will research (Scorpio) with their perceptive intuition (Scorpio) what causes your pain, joy, and misery. They will even know the root cause of the misery that you yoursELF may not be conscious of. Venus in Scorpio wants everything, ALL of YOU . . . all that it implies. In exchange, one receives an infinite loyalty (Scorpio) transcending time, space, and transformation.

(I have a Venus in Scorpio best friend. She has helped me heal in so many ways. We are so close, that I can tell her all my fears, misery, moments of emptiness, darkness [from a Capricorn Moon--methinks only Scorpio placements can withstand these things, and still want to hold our hands], and prods me to journey to my own solutions---which she knows, but knows how to guide me to get there. Which is marvelous. I couldn't ask for a better friend in the entire world).

Sorry it’s taken me so long. I figured I could at least contribute to the Venus in Scorpio at the moment.

All of you have done an excellent job on your interpretations of the placement

Venus in Scorpio wants to reach someone on a deep level (scorpio). I’m not interested in the superficiality of any relationship (venus). If it appears that I am being superficial, than you can place bets that I’m not that interested. : )

We can discuss anything with anyone. I reach out to help others with emotional (scorpio) topics. I try to make the person feel comfortable and relaxed enough to be able to be completely open and honest with me about all aspects of their life.

I want to/and do feel there pain, suffering, joy and happiness flow into me. You do share more with me than you may realize

This trait isn’t only reserved for romantic (venus) relationships, it runs over into friendships as well.

I don’t judge people for the things they tell me. Some things that may be confided in me that others would likely condemn them for. If I accept you… I accept all of you. The good with the bad.

I believe that some tend to get the wrong impression from me at times… thinking that I am “coming on” when actually I’m not. Deep conversation about all matters in life which includes sexual topics (scorpio) just seems like a basic human function for me.

So, if you know someone with venus in scorpio and they are your lover, friend, etc. know that you have one of the most unprejudiced types of love that can exist. It’s a pure, deep form of love that we hold for friends as well as lovers.

We may not express our feelings with "I love yous" or hugs, etc. We do it in other, maybe not so recognizable ways. We're there for someone with true understanding when they need us. I will also bare the burdons of someone that I care about. This is a way that I feel that I can allow there mind, body and spirit to rest.

What type of traits am I attracted to in a person? Someone that can show me the same depth and understanding that I show them.

Not really sure how that was

This Venus eagle likes these great posts on Scorpio Venus! Appreciate the lack of comments on vengence/obsessive/retaliatory side--obviously, a much higher crowd reigns here. Great posts!

Hi,

I have Venus in Scorpio in the 11th house. In my life that has made some interesting and at times dramatic (Scorpio) relationships. This is true for both lovers and friendships. I do love with passionate loyalty, but if the persn turns out to be flaky.... Well, lets just say I move on without explainations (Scorpio). Personally, I like this placement even if love (Venus) for me is intense and sometimes difficult to understand (Scorpio).

I also, have Venus in Scorpio in my 11th house, so I can relate! The hardest part to overcome can easily be the jealousy--it will eat away at you. But, after any kind of fight (more likely rage) a dose of red-hot love making can cure any dispute. Just as long as the other person is taking it as seriously as I am. Wow, we can be intense! Do any of you Venus/Scorpio's notice that you scare away potential mates, or are most of them appreciative of the intensity?

You know what is really cool? When you have Venus in Scorpio and your honey has Mars in Scorpio. Intense.

I have Venus in Scorpio myself (29 degrees, conjunct Ascendant, 1st house). I thought this part was both funny and true:

That’s just the way it works. You don’t fly off the handle with Venus in Scorpio, cool back down again and expect them to be all sweet and coochie-cooey coz you’re in the mood for some lovin’. There’s always a streak of vengeance inherent in this placement with respect to their close relationships. Tread carefully and don’t push them too far too often.

I don't know about the "you're the only one they'll ever want" part though; I haven't found anyone who has held my interest "for all eternity" , could be the Libra Sun, though.
As far as not expressing yourself verbally......hmm....... I am a very verbal person.... wouldn't that be Mercury's area, more than Venus?
