What does the phrase ‘As above, so below’ mean to you?
What sort of tool is astrology in your life?Well, I've read the phrase "As above, so below" in an alchemy book many years ago. According to this book, the phrase synthesizes the concept of correspondence. Meaning, everything is connected in the Universe. Just like we are star stuff, so are stars made up of parts of ours.
I think of it as a sort of quantum entanglement. I believe in God in a sense that, to me, God is the least common denominator that exists on everything in the Universe, i.e. God is Energy for everything is energy in its most basic form.
This is the reason why I find astrology so mind-blowing. It is obvious to me that we are influenced by the energy of the astral bodies as they move around the firmament. And as I get older, the clearer to connection becomes.
Now, as to what kind of tool is astrology in my life? Well, I use it as a divination tool (I especially like horary astrology) and a self-understanding tool. I read my natal chart report at least once a year, and I have discovered many patterns that maybe weren't so obvious the year before.
Once I make certain connections, I realize what behavior I need to change and why. So astrology is very useful for me -- not to mention, addictive!
However, for me, astrology is a bit hard to learn because of all the nuances that one has to learn about every little thing, and then synthesize all that knowledge to create an analysis. Still I try.
