How does was one determine what is conjunct to what? Is it the same way that you would determine that a Pisces and Virgo are opposed? And also I'm still not entirely sure how you determine which is your first house 2nd 3rd etc.
Thank You

determining your houses is based off your ascendant and there are a number of different ways to do this, denoted by the house system (Equal, Placidus, Koch etc.)

Im not sure of the math but to be honest most astrology programs can do the hard part for you.

Conjunct is an aspect between two planets/objects in a chart - IE when they overlap. It's the opposite of an opposition when two objects are across the chart from each other.

Hi Silverbells

Here's a link to the course schedule...
http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayprivate&number=12&topic=000096

you'll see it also contains links to all the lessons we've covered so far. We're currently working on Venus, so you may want to join in there and then when you get a chance take a look at the past lessons. Post any questions or thoughts you have on the relevent string and we'll be happy to help you out.

Have you ever looked at astro's website? You can get your chart there - it's free....
Here's the link to that site... www.astro.com
I think it's easier to understand a chart when you have a visual of it in front of you.
